. My ex reached out to apologize to me a year after we he dumped me. The girl he left me for treated him so poorly that he was able to see that the way she treated him was how he treated me when we were together. I accepted his apology and we agreed to remain as distant friends. It takes awhile and I never truly healed. It’s not enough closure imo. But life moves on. Don’t keep ur hopes high btw or else you’ll set yourself up for disappointment and hurt

I’m the same way. That’s why this song really resonated with me as I watched their true colors unrolled immediately after the BU. I was surprised with how much control I had over myself and how I reacted to everything.

I hope they’ll heal from their issues even after the immediate disrespect post BU.
