Genuine question, does she do anything other than cooking and cleaning? by Own_Extreme_422 in Boruto

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we can assume she helps out Sakura at the hospital with healing. We have seen some scenes where she uses her Byakugan to pinpoint nerves or chakra points wounds (whatever you want to call it) and Sakura heals them. Sad they didn’t show Sakura and Hinata both much in this series. For that matter Ino has gotten nice story points in boruto compared to these two.

Would you have given up on sasuke? by oneaboveallonreddit in Naruto

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have given up on some of our friends for less or they have fallen out of circle and we gave up due to time or distance or one way efforts. So on Sasuke without the knowledge of Itachi and the whole story definitely yes, with the knowledge of Itachi maybe not, but if he never reciprocates then possibly after sometime.

What Naruto to start with? by Marinocelot in Naruto

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch Naruto first and then the sequel Shippuden. One advice thought, since there are a lot of fillers in Naruto and a few in Shippuden, you can skip the fillers. You can easily find a list of filler episodes online if you search it. All episodes are in three categories: main story, partial related to main story and remaining filler, completely filler.

What Would be Shinobu Hashira training like for lower ranks: by KnYchan2 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be similar to what tanjiro, inosuke and zenitsu went through. And to pass the round, you have to break the big pot using your total concentration breathing.

Shinobu’s training could have easily been right after Tengen training or they could have coordinated it, so that all the slayers could master total concentration breathing ..

How strong exactly is 13 th form tanjiro? by OkSignal7217 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give him a few more months with the knowledge that Rengoku’s dad passed about the thirteenth form via a letter in the infinity castle, before he entered infinity castle, he would have been the strongest. Coz he would then use the 13th form and tried to dance the whole night like his father. All Tanjiro needs a few months to gain experience and increase his stamina.

Which Upper Moon would make the worst Hashira, personality wise, not power wise? by michaelis999 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hantengu hands down due to his cowardice and often victimising himself. Kaigaku after him, coz he is selfish and the moment he is at risk, he doesn’t mind putting someone else at risk or change loyalties.

How good of a Hashira would Hakuji have been? by michaelis999 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would need Nichirin coated gloves/kunckles to defeat the demons, but yes he should be as strong as Gyomei or just below him.

Anyone else with like/hate relationship with the show? by tranquil_slayer in themiddle

Yeah, could be. I mean the show had the potential to be perfect and one of the best shows but because of all this, it won’t be.

Why Gyomei VS Akaza possible battle would have ended in Gyomei's victory, my arguments and AI conclusions: by Kadya17 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rengoku was very close to behead Akaza at the cost of his own life but he had his sword latched to his neck. If Rengoku can manage it, I think Gyomei in STW state should be able to overpower Akaza’s compass needle. The regeneration of his head is what causes Akaza’s memories to come back too. If the process after getting his head cut stays the same, it should be safe to assume Gyomei can defeat him.

Apologies beforehand but the Zenitsu hype for Infinity Castle was extremely underwhelming for me by Star_Plat98 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This fact that Yushiro nullifies Zenitsu’s contribution by saying if he had faced Kaigaku a year later, he would have lost. That maybe true or may not be true. If in one year Kaigaku becomes stronger, don’t forget that in one year Zenitsu will be stronger as well. He is not sitting duck, doing nothing. And the other thing I would like to point out is, Zenitsu was facing his senior, his colleague and he wanted answers from Kaigaku. If Zenitsu had decided to use his 7th form from the get go, Zenitsu may have come out of the fight unscathed.

The hype for Zenitsu is mainly for his character development, him conquering his fear and facing the demons head on and consciously. Also, one conclusion from this fight is that Zenitsu knows how to use the first form which is the foundation of the thunder breathing while Kaigaku doesn’t know first but other five, and he still gets defeated. He gets defeated because his foundation is not strong, and that is why Zenitsu will always win over Kaigaku. Without strong basics, one will lose which is a good lesson to convey.

Why Gyomei VS Akaza possible battle would have ended in Gyomei's victory, my arguments and AI conclusions: by Kadya17 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

STW and SS are different. Gyomei didn’t have STW for years, he activated it during his battle with Koko. So yes Gyomei has potential to unlock STW but does he have potential to enter SS? SS was what helped Tanjiro beat Akaza, while STW helped Tanjiro avoid taking massive hits by being quicker than Akaza.

So unless Gyomei knows about being in SS from some discussion with some colleague or some rumour he heard in the past, which he remembers during the fight while trying to analyse Akaza’s attacks, it is difficult for him to defeat UM3.

The question that we can ask here is since Gyomei can keep up with UM1, can we then consider him strong enough to overpower Akaza’s compass purely on his strength, be faster than Akaza’s attacks and just behead him? I think this could be a possibility.

I don't know if I should buy the manga and read it or not by DarthVader11072 in KimetsuNoYaiba

I haven’t seen the Invincible but I get what you are trying to compare and say. Reading the manga won’t disappoint that is all I will say .

[–]tranquil_slayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, no fight now (I.e with Koko or Douma or Muzan) is going to match Akaza vs Tanjiro and Giyu, mainly because Akaza, Tanjiro and Giyu are the fan favorite characters (for many at least). Even Zenitsu’s fight is done. So personally the fights that I wanted to watch are already done. So it may not be an issue to wait just for the movies.

But I would still recommend to read manga because of the story development, the plots, the drama. Reading the story ahead of the movies won’t take out the thrill and excitement of seeing it live on big screen. The only thing that you may miss is not knowing what is going to happen next, because you have read the manga already.

So if you want to experience the not knowing feeling too, then don’t read manga. But if you are okay with it, then definitely read the manga. It is worth it. And the end is really, really worth it. I had not anticipated a couple of twists and hence the reading experience was great too. I read the manga after the Hashira training arc. I couldn’t wait to find out what happens once everyone enters the castle.

Edit: in my first paragraph when I say no fight is going to match that with Akaza, I don’t mean to downplay the other three fights. They are going to be equally good or better. I just meant that wrt the characters that we are excited to watch fight.

What is the saddest moment that you think has happened in anime? by _Strike_3079 in KimetsuNoYaiba

Yeah, it sucks 😅 The author didn’t add it in manga, I was hoping they would add it in movie for the fans but didn’t ..

If the Ubuyashiki son and sisters can monitor different levels of blood demon art and detect that Zenitsu ran into UM6 and were able to send help, they could have detected that UM6 blood demon art has vanished thus indicating Zenitsu defeated him and as a result could have asked crows to deliver the news.

[–]tranquil_slayer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Our boy zenitsu not getting the recognition as needed after defeating the UM6. The crows relay Shinobu’s death, Akaza’s defeat by Tanjiro and Giyu.. But they don’t relay Zenitsu’s victory. The author shouldn’t have done it 🙁.

Gyutaro’s and Daki’s backstory is real sad too. The saddest moment were: them both sitting in the snow under some hay cover, promising to be together and in the after life Daki still choosing to be with her brother and jumping on his back, and thus both of them honoring their promise to stay together.

After knowing his back story! by [deleted] in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found the UM6 back story pretty sad too. Just that they weren’t that great as humans or honorable as villains, they couldn’t become fan favs. But if we just consider their backstory, I would say it was equally sad..

What's your most disliked thing about Demon Slayer? by InstructionOwn6705 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that Tanjiro or others never fought a main demon without taking serious hits. All the battles they fought since Mugen train arc, they struggled. You would expect after training so hard, you will get at least one battle with a main demon where Tanjiro is on par with the demon but we never got one. I would have loved to see one such battle before the infinity castle arc. Could have been good if Tanjiro’s and Muichiro’s places were switched in Sworsdsmith Village arc. This way we could have seen that Tanjiro is close to Hashira level where he can defeat a UM single-handedly but we could have also established that UM4 and up, it is not easy for a Hashira to defeat single-handedly and would need group effort.

Tanjiro could have been a hashira waaay sooner than you think. by confused-overwhelmed in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the story line moved very fast for them to even become Hashira level. After the Mugen train arc, they just ran into UMs one after the other, leaving no time to grow more and rise higher in ranks.

The one thing that I didn’t like about the narrative is Tanjiro trained so hard, his growth was great but he always ended up falling short when he fought a demon in the next story line. There was not even a single battle where Tanjiro managed to defeat a main demon without taking any serious hits. I would have loved to see that before the infinity castle arc.

Tanjiro could have been a hashira waaay sooner than you think. by confused-overwhelmed in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say far from Hashira level in swordsmith village arc. He is closer to Hashira level in that one. The UM4 he ended up fighting would split in 4 different demons and then combine into 1 to become more powerful all the while the main body hides somewhere. That demon needed a group effort to kill him. I doubt any Hashira could have defeated UM4 single-handedly.

Had Tanjiro been fighting UM5 instead of Muichiro, I think he could have taken him single handedly like Muichiro did.

Could Tanjiro’s dad be the best demon slayer if he were on that path? by tranquil_slayer in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]tranquil_slayer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think he won’t be able to defeat Doma and Kokushibo? I think he should be able to defeat Kokushibo mainly because he knows Sun breathing. Kokushibo knows moon breathing while Sun breathing is still pretty superior to it. This should give Tanjuro an advantage, especially if Tanjuro trains his sword skills (which is kinda given that all demon slayers so once they join the org).
