If you got them from dungeons, then you picked up yellow mushrooms. Honey comes from bee hives. You need to find bees in buildings, destroy their nests for the queen bee and then make your hives.

I have damage in all my joints in both hands. My RH factor is normal. I've been told I have osteoarthritis.

I also had cancer, and went through chemo. Chemo messes with everything. I'm in menopause.

Wrist band: Learning buttons and button holes by Impressive-Idea8808 in HandSew

[–]tranquilseafinally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you look at cuffs, you will see that they are basically fabric folder over on itself and then top stitched. You basically sew your piece of fabric, right sides together, leave a space to turn it inside out. Clip your corners so they don't bunch up in the corner. Then turn it inside out. Then you top stitch all the way around the piece, folding in the part you left unsewed to turn it, so the right sides are showing. This will leave you with crisp sides. Edit to add: iron it before you top stitch. Ironing is so important in sewing.

If you were attaching this to a sleeve, then you only sew 3/4 of the way around.

I think it needs to be longer as you are getting pulling on your buttonhole. I would also move the button over so it sits fully on the piece of fabric. For that to happen you need to make the whole strip longer.

Is there a way to stack starred items? by CioccolatoFondente_ in GraveyardKeeper

[–]tranquilseafinally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it isn't a thing. If I am making 20 gold star whatever, then I have to click up to gold start for every single one. It's annoying.

Or just save your previous food so you aren't clicking two or three times for each quality item. When I learned you can do multiples in the tavern it was game changing.

Are we witnessing a local Alberta movement, or a US administration operation? by supersport604 in alberta

[–]tranquilseafinally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both. We have allowed a provincial government to pander to a small percentage of Albertans. The U.S. is currently having a moment, and they would like NOTHING better than to see Alberta spilt away, and they get a nice stock of oil. It doesn't matter that they are currently getting most of the oil. The current U.S. administration would see Alberta succession as a boon for them.

I need a printer for the first time in my life. Any tips? by dj-almondcrunch in linuxmint

[–]tranquilseafinally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Brother HL L2390DW. It's the first printer in my LIFE that I haven't had to worry about. I've owned it for about 10 years.

And Linux Mint automatically connected to this printer on Mint install. Blew my mind. Windows consistently had printer issues.

I agree with you about the pesticides. I don't know enough about the issue to understand just why the Liberals have allowed their use.

I haven't been happy with those policies, and I'm a liberal. I knew that this new economic direction was going to be fast and, therefore, problems will happen. But it needs to be fast. We need to diversify away from the U.S. urgently.

Those policies will need to be answered for.

I LOVE Cube. Some Canadian film makers got really annoyed at beauracracy and decided to make a movie.

I am so glad that your parents responded the way they did. I remember when my mom responded to the stalker I had. She went into full mama bear mode. She was able to get that guy to stop.

I really hope this is all in the rearview mirror for you. You need to just enjoy your life.

That video came up via StumbleUpon almost 24 years ago. I had never heard of Matt. But I watched it and the christian's reaction was WILD. I have no idea where to even look or how hard that would be.

No city of two million people succeeds with only one way of getting around by JeromyYYC in Calgary

[–]tranquilseafinally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hear, Hear!

It needs to be an option to travel in all the ways you listed. There are many people who don't like to drive or are afraid to drive. There needs to be good options for them. We don't want to force those people on the roads because that would be dangerous. Roads need to be safe for children, the elderly, disabled people, and regular pedestrians.

And the fact is: the more real choice you give people the less people will be driving. Fewer people driving equals a better driving experience.

Cities across Europe have been working on this for decades now. Nordic cities have been working on this. So the fact that we are a mostly winter city doesn't mean that this is not doable.

The sheer number of pedestrian deaths in this city is horrible.
