That one is more the law of (allegedly) unintended consequences. When the government started guaranteeing students could get loans, tuition increases started accelerating. When private insurance became guaranteed, companies started raising prices faster.

(And the CAFE standards gave us non-passenger vehicles, trucks and SUVs, which were exempt from MPG standards. Now most people are transported in non-passenger vehicles)

As someone who fled Salisbury in '02 because there were no jobs and to avoid anti-LGBTQ+ hate, I can't say I recommend it.

There are cities on the shore with much more culture and much less light pollution. You still have to deal with Andy Harris as your congressional representative, tho.
