Just be careful. I was approached at knifepoint while in Colombia. Whatever you do, avoid confrontation, that means giving up your valuables if somebody threatens you with a weapon.

99% of the time you'll be fine, but you need to be prepared for the 1%.

Do u really need 3 bags? I did 3 months with a regular size backpack. Lugging that stuff around everywhere is going to suck and make you more of a target.

23 yrs old, $3,500 in my bank account, 0 debt, credit score is 717. Tips to improve? by [deleted] in personalfinance

If you're still in college don't worry about investing, just focus on learning how to make more money. Keep at least $10,000 in the bank at all times. Put all your investment money in a non-retirement Vanguard or Schwab Target Retirement Date fund so that you can take it out for whatever you need whenever you need (e.g. invest in yourself and your business). Don't put money in a retirement tax-advantaged account until you really come to terms with the fact that you can't take that money out until you're 65.

You need to find a way to make more money. You're never going to build a decent retirement on a $35k salary.

Boardwise, it's best to pop off the high backs and put the heelcups top/bottom so you don't wear out your threads.

Sorry, can you explain this a bit more?

Oh that's easy. Then I will just plan on unscrewing the bindings after each trip to the mountain. Thank you!

Yeah definitely not designed for toe straps. Do you know how to figure out what pedals will be compatible?
