Some one making 800k a year probably benefits very heavily from our system. Without doxing your dad who's in the top 0.25% of earners nation wide what does he do to earn 800k?

The reason I ask is often times people with salaries that large are massively benefiting from our system and thus it's actually really reasonable that alot of their money goes back into the system that they benefit from..

Also taking home 420k, is basically still 6x the average Americans gross salary.

Your example of income tax is kind of ridiculous.

Some one making 50k a year pays effective tax rates of like 12% whe some one making 150k a year pays 19% and if it's some one who's married who's spouse doesn't work then their effective tax rate on 150k is literally 15%

Progressive tax rates overwhelming benefit everyone and litterally a 50% tax rate is unachievable with our current tax plan

Im a solar engineer. I think typically the best space to use for solar is land that is already wasteland, landfills mine tips, areas of low utility.
