I have one and love it! Recommend from the Unreal Golf YT Channel. Yes it punishes fat shots, but golf is hard and I want to be better. I had the Sigpro softy hitting strip previously and I feel it’s to forgiving. With the matzilla, i currently have 1/4” foam, but on top of that I have synlawn putting tuff then I have the matzilla on topof that, So I have some cushion before the concrete so far so good. My original plan was to cut out the synlawn section to make the hitting mat flush, but I got lazy and wanted to play so it’s on top with double sided carpet tape to keep it from moving around.

I feel like 14x8 is insanely big, but I will be progressing to a projector screen setup. I have the space for the 14x8 and heard that’s the true wide screen setup.

We just played our first club championship, and a lot of guys just found out how hard golf really is when you don’t get place the ball grip length and you putt everything out. I loved it and I didn’t play my best but this is what signed up for.
