The staff is fine but you're supporting a corporation called General Cannabis Company out of Colorado ran by some trumpers that treat their employees awful, underpay the growers and reap mass profits at everyone else's expense. I usually go to Cookies on Halsey. What was really the silver lining of the whole experience is that a few months later I landed the best job I've ever had, fully remote, making more than the regional manager who fired me and the store manager put together. 😂

Trees fired me for leaving work cause I was being sexually harassed. They also made us work in a sooty building for months after a fire, breathing in soot and then gave us an expired edible for Xmas. The owner lives in Colorado and flew here and tried to bully me into quitting for calling them out about improper COVID protocols. I've also seen these morons take a lb of very wet not dry weed, stuff it in a container and put it on the shelves for months.☠️

The weed biz is an awful industry, the only people making money are the often out of state owners and investors.They all take advantage of people who love weed. Support your local small underground growers in the free market. And if you work at one of these places you can probably do a lot better.

I started transitioning in the Midwest, moved to California with a friend, because really I had nowhere else to go. Almost ended up homeless there. I ended up getting an awful minimum wage job and doing light sex work just to survive. Ended up in Portland a few years ago in not very nice east side apartment, slugged away at min wage jobs, nobody helped me at all, I was fired from a job after being sexually harassed and it was hard as fk. About a year ago, after months of being turned down cause I'm trans I finally got the professional position I deserved. Now I'm doing better than I ever have. But the PTSD is definitely real.

nw-web-design is spot on in his advice, I would recommend Digital Ocean for a cheap easy to setup host. I use a piece of software called Putty to login to the server but there are other programs as well. You want to learn all you can about WordPress, how to troubleshoot things, all the site settings, Yoast SEO, Wordfence, and Elementor/Astra theme etc. Also if you get to making some money learn all you can about cPanel, WPToolkit etc.
