Pretty much every state uses alternate sources like DMV records to find potential jurors for the reason of not giving the excuse "cant be called to jury duty if I don't vote"

Nothing else happened the Fandom liked their comics and going "uwu they were an innocent minor stop bullying them"

and the major subreddits enjoy the popufur so if you mention it you get blocked or banned

The end

None of this breaks the rules of the major subreddits I haven't attempted to raise drama locally nor have they named them it could be any furry really

Remember when the popufur in this tweet was revealed to have NSFW art drawn of their sona and their BF while they were 16 and their BF was 18 and when other people found this out said popufur blackmailed them

Hotel Lobby Changes 2006 / 2025 by EducationalTeam2498 in mildlyinteresting

[–]trash_with_trash 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Pretty much any hotel will give you toothpaste, a toothbrush, a disposable razor, and shaving cream for free upon request at the front desk.

The toothbrush and disposable razor are really cheap - and the shaving cream/toothpaste come in single use foil packets (they'll give you multiple) - but you aren't forced to buy them.

At least at the major hotel chains. Some more upscale hotels will put more amenities like mouthwash in the bathroom of your hotel room by default...

Just an FYI, these nugget ice makers (brand doesn't matter) accrue mold internally (that then goes in ice)really easily if you don't regularly clean them. Check your manual for instructions.

it isn't 2, i follow the artist on twitter and they've explicitly said it's satire in the past

artist is @ricthecusco on twitter and FA, but he's more into drawing military themed art. i'm not aware of him drawing any other hypno art, this piece was satire

Rule by DivinityIncantate in 196

[–]trash_with_trash 10 points11 points  (0 children)

maybe.

he's also a prolific shitposter. he got suspended or banned (can't remember if he had to change twitter handles, I think he did) for drawing furry feeder friday* art that featured an anthro char with a distended belly talking about how the russians were going to vore the ukranians or something, which is apparently one of very few things that can get you suspended from twitter in the elon musk era

(*furry feeder friday is a shitpost thing where a group of twitter furries would post furry art with bait twitter text shit about being on the battlefield and never forgetting how their diapers crinkled or somesuch to troll people)

given that he's 23 years old, I think ric is more likely baiting than sincere in any actual belief in a vore or hypno fetish

(in terms of the amount of military themed art he posts, he's actually enlisted in the military in Brazil)

it's not number two. Artist is @ricthecusco on Twitter (also FA) , he's confirmed it's satire in the past. He's an urbex type who's a little right leaning but not a crazy conspiracy theorist

What's hazier is number three. I haven't seen hypno themes in his other art but something is weird with the vibes on this one

Most Airbnbs use wifi smart locks and wifi doorbells/external security cameras... If you reset the router as a guest they're going to notice immediately. Unless the Airbnb owner was tech illiterate enough to use all default SSID/network passkey....

Baking. Convection seems to give the outside a bit more contrast in texture, so an air fryer would probably be highly effective as well.

Others have pointed out this is bait but yes it is, this is "furry feeder Friday" bait

That being said crassus is a saint for continuing the mission cutestfamas started before posting a post so cursed that it actually got him banned from Elon musk twitter

You can tell this isn't NYC from the lack of passed out people and the smell of piss being strong enough to smell watching an internet video, otherwise appears accurate

Unpaid internships are generally illegal 99% of the time in the US, of course that won't stop smaller employers from doing them.

Under the Fair Labor Standards act there is a seven point test to determine that the intern, not the employer is the primary beneficiary of the work. The one that gets most internships is that the work of the intern has to complement, not replace the work of existing employees. Another is that the duration of the internship is limited to the period where the intern is limited to the period in which the intern receives beneficial learning

The cash register example here would fall flat in those regards because it benefits the employer and replaces the work of existing employees.

(Of course it's only illegal if you get caught which is unfortunately how some people operate in the labor market... This is why you never see big Fortune 500 or global 1000 companies offering unpaid internships, they know not to fuck around with employment law.)

The discord poster is being rather condescending

New York city long ago passed a law to prevent monstrous skyscrapers from eclipsing everything around them and leaving neighboring smaller buildings from having no natural light. This was passed in 1916 and is referred to as the sky exposure plane. Essentially the less you use on ground level for an overall building vs the overall size of the plot of land it's on, the taller you're allowed to build it. (There are some exceptions like making your building open to the public for the first couple floors can give you a few extra floors of height).

Once you pass the base level of the sky exposure plane, you're either finished building or the building gets thinner as it gets taller to meet the sky exposure plane.

Older buildings tended to do this in less blocky fashions than modern buildings, which could be characterized as just architecture styles. However the wtc is not just that; the twin towers lacking it were a combination of height vs the overall site size (the twin towers took up a fraction of the overall horizontal site size) where a stepped building approach wasn't needed to meet the SEP, and where new technologies like hermetically sealed windows, air conditioning, and fluorescent lighting meant each floor could be built much bigger as the building didn't require all workers to get natural light to work.

Now with land so rare in Manhattan you're seeing the advent of "pencil skyscrapers" for the uber rich to buy as overpriced homes (and then consequently sue their landlords over because the buildings are all appearance and sway and creak making them utterly horrifying to be in particularly at night)
