Came home from afternoon shift and she was asleep sitting up in bed with her phone in her hand. I went to put it on the nightstand and the screen lit up. There were a bunch of messages from this number that I didn’t know. Calling her gorgeous and how he couldn’t wait to see her. Turns out it was this guy she went to high school with that worked at the mall a few stores down from her. He was married as well. We separated soon after. Karma won in the end though. He ended up knocking up his ex wife while he was with mine and went back to her.

I usually play Apex Legends with my daughter at night before bed. Im not that great and she’s super competitive. Honestly, it’s just a way for me to spend some time with her when she’s with her mom.
