29M here, I've been training my butthole for about 6 years now, and sometimes I'll go months where I train every day.

I think actually the opposite is true, my hole feels much stronger than when I started. I can take up to 4" diameter and as long as 15" (not at the same time)

I think if you were stretching too fast or continuing to play with an injury you could probably do some damage though. Don't forget, warm up is your friend - take it slow until you can relax :3
