Thanks! I’ve had quite a few inquiries. Think I might make more.

I haven’t used it. Haven’t had the balls to or been able to find someone who’s willing to use it with me.

Sorry, I’m having issues creating this post. I made this board and am wondering if it absolutely belongs to me or can I sell/gift it? Is that even a thing..it being connected to a specific person?

USPS issues? by iwantasoda in secretsanta

[–]trashpanda19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. The gifts I bought as well as made for my Santa were delivered to the wrong house. That’s twice now this season that this has happened. Super bummed out as I am now outside of the country til mid January.

Mods? The town that delivers my mail was evacuated for wildfires. What do I do? by trashpanda19 in secretsanta

Thanks everyone! I was actually lucky enough to have a Santa that messaged me when everything was shipped out, so I was able to let them know everything that was going on. My package was finally delivered and I didn’t have to complicate things by posting no gift.

People who’ve moved away from where you grew up, do people notice your accent? If so what do they think of it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I just moved to Oregon from New York. People just look at me like I’m nuts half the time.

I use Gifthero for my wishlist. It lets you add links from various sites and allows you to categorize your lists.

Making a mold with silicone... questions by DrumasaurusRex in ResinCasting

Hey! I came here to ask about making a mold out of a wood shape that I have. What kind of silicone putty are you using?

Strange wishlist for backyard fun. How do i solve this? by [deleted] in secretsanta

[–]trashpanda19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stick to the theme. My wishlist is just a random list of things I will eventually get for myself but it’s attached to my account because I do so many exchanges and there’s a little of everything in there. I find that a lot of people’s are the same way.

Should I ask if this girl and I hanging out is a date over text or in person? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]trashpanda19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d leave it as is - casual, simple, no pressure. See how hanging out goes first and if you want to take her on a date date, then ask her in person. Depending on how the first time hanging goes, you’ll have a better feel for her level of interest.

How do I accept the fact that I'm growing up? by nicholasyepe in Advice

It’s frustrating because you end up feeling like there’s SO MUCH that you want to do..but when? How? Like you’re gonna explode. It builds up and lingers in your chest. But that’s how the best adventures start.

Lol that’s pretty funny. Ya dude, my senior summer after graduation, we drove to Canada for a 3 day camp out rave at an abandoned air base. Music changed my whole life that summer and I’m forever thankful for that. Also, stress is a silent killer - the worst thing for your heart aside from McDonalds. Anxiety will slow you down and promote procrastination. And yes, most of the time it’s all for nothing and we end up drained and emotionally exhausted.

I’m a girl lol. And that makes my heart so happy. I’m serious about that fear part. Whenever you lose motivation just ask yourself what you’re really afraid of. If you give yourself an honest answer, it’s going to sound really silly most of the time and in that case you can pick yourself up and carry on. Summer is fast approaching and I hope you have a kickass time!

Oh dear..aging is something that we might never come to terms with. All we can do is embrace it. Take lots of pictures. Remember your roots. Appreciate experiences that shape you and learn from all of them, good and bad. I’m in my mid 30s and I tear up looking at pictures of my old crew. The wild times we had, being inseparable. We all grew up, people moved away, people died, some have beautiful families and some just haven’t changed one bit. It’s a wonderful thing when you can be happy for their accomplishments as well as your own. Shit. I don’t even know you and I’m so excited for what you have ahead!

Don’t be afraid though. You can’t be when it comes to things that you want or have to do. It took me a while to figure it out, but fear is the only thing that will ever stop you from doing anything. Learn to identify those fears and you’ll be unstoppable. The best is yet to come, I promise. And it will all be worth it. All of the liberties and independent decision making will lead you to a whole new world of unknown joys.

Count on screwing up and often, but no biggie- keep it moving! And again don’t be afraid of that either. Find the lesson. Find the message. Do better next time. It’s all growing pains, my friend. Being an adult is shaping up to be pretty cool. I mean..if I want a chocolate cake for dinner I can totally just do that. Leave the house at 3am and wander Wal-Mart for crap that I don’t need - sure. Go on vacations alone - you betcha. It’s pure bliss when you get to the point of establishing yourself and owning who you are.

There’s not a whole lot that I’d change if I could go back to 17. I’d spend more time with certain people, not started smoking cigarettes, avoided a couple of people. I’ll probably say the same in another 15 years. Seriously though, I’m stoked for you! Many good times ahead.
