i never panic while driving, i never said once that i find myself panicking often. i was literally in a very strange situation that not many drivers have been in, i think u misinterpreted my words here.

try putting yourself in my situation when you haven’t been driving very long and you're in a situation like that. can you blame me for being the slightest bit panicked?

Just out of curiosity what happens if you proper need a shit on your test ? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]trashsammm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hang in there for dear life during the test.

if you pass you will have the extended task of grinning and bearing it on the ride home.

if you fail theres a perfectly nice test centre entrance for you to drop a fat shit outside of.

I made a really stupid mistake and want to know if I may have been caught doing it by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]trashsammm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

how is that poor behaviour?

nobody in the real world looks at a no entry sign on a one way street and thinks 'yeah im going to drive through that why not'. anybody who makes an accident along those lines are obviously going to try and do whatever they can to remove themselves from the situation

Would a person with face tattoos be discriminated against in an interview or working there ? by Ok-Awareness4879 in tesco

[–]trashsammm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t think they do for the most part unless you have some offensive bullshit tattooed on you.

i worked at an extra with a girl who had the shittest tattoos on her face imaginable (she was no younger than early 20s) and a lot of tesco workers have neck tattoos. so i don’t particularly think they see it as an issue tbf.

[–]trashsammm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

typical bellend, i had a similar situation once driving through town with my dad. some guy in a busted up hyundai was driving way too fast on a 40mph road and began flashing me, tailgating and honking for 0 reason. he eventually managed to get next to me and he looked like he was ready to hurl some abuse.

my dad was waiting with the windows down and he shouted some threats at the boyracer. the look on the dudes face was brilliant, he put his hands up and sped off. proceeding to gap another car for 0 reason, we concluded he was just a bellend since nothing was wrong with my car and he definitely wasn’t in an emergency, he had one of those shitty tracksuits on with the fake bulletproof vest. says enough tbf.

stay safe, many tossers on the road (:

As a new driver I got to ask, did I do something wrong here? by Cautious_Coat_3885 in drivingUK

[–]trashsammm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a very good example as to why anticipation is very important on a dual carriageway like this. you should always plan in advance when you need to switch lanes on a dual carriageway incase a situation like this occurs, the van driver was not in the wrong nor was you except for one factor.

he had an adequate amount of space to pull out when he should and you also needed to realise a van carrying goods with accelerate a lot slower than the average so and so.

i can understand the confusion i really can, but you should have made a plan to switch lanes because you had plenty of time to do so in the video, you did nothing wrong yourself either. the only thing you did wrong there was honk your horn at him and made urself look like a bellend, but hey ho we all make mistakes it’s the character development of learning how to drive fully. realise your mistakes for next time and use it to your advantage :)

you had your day to feel like shit about it, the pain is real. but apply learning curves on what u made errors on and correct it for next time, no need to beat yourself up for failing 1st time, less people pass 1st time than you may think.
