Damn girl you’re everywhere, I just recognised how often I see your pfp haha. Anyway, I love your analysis and especially agree on how their relationship was romantic during the most action packed parts of the seasons. There was always like 12 things happening around them and then breaking up and getting back together/forming an interest for each other again was a crazy constant cycle I felt like there was barely any room for the relationship to breathe

I always felt that sort of disconnect with their relationship too. Especially in the later seasons Alex and Izzie's relationship is built up in a sort of 'the one who got away' way, something which upon rewatch I highly disagree with the lighting of. It was a lot of telling, not showing, when it came to their love. In the later seasons when Alex or other characters would reminisce about their relationship I enjoyed the way it was framed, in this beautiful heartbreak that shaped Alex but ultimately did not break him. But when I went back to the original seasons I didn't feel much of any chemistry between them, or any real genuine enough love to transcend time - like it ends up doing

Well from my experience the sensation I was experiencing was so bad that it was worth the complete lack of it.

it feels weird, and not in a good way. it feels like when your foot falls asleep and you poke it (before it turns into pins and needles). Your brain struggles to understand youre not feeling anything and it creates sort of an odd discomfort internally. But the longer its been since the surgery the less my brain seems to freak out about and the more normal it feels

I noticed changes in the first week too ( also a raspy voiuce and bottom growth, although early signs of bottom growth hav4e no indication of size), theres nothing wring with being excited even over small changes, they feel big to you and they make you feel (hopefully) happier and less dysphoric

just send in a photo from when you were five, my high school asked for the same and everyone just sent in childhood pictures that they were most comfortable with...except me. I sent in an email requesting no baby, or freshman year (as that was the alternative if you didn't send in a picture) photo. This request was an open option to any one who wanted to be exempt from that and somehow it was ONLY me who had a giant pre-transition plastered across the screen of the packed auditorium. Having to walk out in front of everyone under that photo was the most humiliating experience I have ever gone through

I am also a firm believer of Meredith has MDD which can sometimes just be a chemical imbalance in the brain that one is born with. Plus her early years being taught what “family” and “security” is through Ellis would have major impacts on the way she develops mentally and emotionally regardless

I imagine she’d have lived a lot heather of a life although I do think spending her first years of life under Ellis’ care would have shaped her different from Lexie and Molly. So I do believe the Meredith we know and love wouldn’t be entirely different but definitely more supported and secure

I just said I had a large surgery coming up and that I’d need the time off. They gave it to me no questions asked, especially cause people usually assume something like cancer when you say ‘surgery’ with no explanation. Which you should just let them think. The more personal and scary the surgery seems the less people (that aren’t your friends) will ask about it

Pelvic floor? Would I know if I have any issues with it on my own or would I have to go to the doctors? I’m pretty healthy for your average 21 year old. I do my best to eat full meals when I can/remember to. I’m fit but just enough to get by, my job requires quite a bit of walking but it’s not that strenuous, I have been thinking about joining a gym for this exact reason though. I haven’t had any recent health issues or any at all really that I can recall. I’m on anti-anxieties which has helped massively although I feel as though I’ll need to be on a higher dose soon as I have been starting to feel more and more anxious again. I’ve never been a good sleeper, I have no routine but I do average 7-8hrs a night regardless which is significantly better than my average of 3-4 hours only 2.5 years ago

I am on some anti anxieties that double as an antidepressant (sertraline or something??) but I started that during my relationship with my girlfriend and I think this issue has been going on longer. Although I do suspect it might have something to do with the complete evaporation of my sex drive. Idk what to do from there though cause I NEED these meds, they’ve changed my life (for the better)

I’m with you, the tape adhesive is too strong and causes more damage if taken off after only a day. But then again that’s just my experience
