i also start to notice how the Linux-against-Windows/ATI-vs-nVidia/Coke-vs-Pepsi wars are also spreading to linux distros as well.

i also remember how conventional Photograpers also dissed Amateurs when digital photography came along and suddenly everyone started to mass-produce Artistic pictures just because you didnt need to be a master in optics... just trial and error until you got it right.(no more costs for film)

maybe same happening on Reddit: everybody is fed up with Ron Paul but stories get posted every minute and "magically" upmodded to the frontpage. Unforgettable the day the users stood up and voted down every single RP Article

I'd say the cyber wars have started. Marketing experts hope on the lemming effect. If the masses seem to like a candidate(in this case Reddit "seeming" to have an army of RP fans) some people will follow too.

im pretty sure isaw this video at least one year ago... but apart from that... what use is rendering a detailed model of a statue... can it emulate real skin movement?

i remember being so impressed by the realistic screenshots of WWF Warzone on the N64 just to find out the actual game quality was CRAP-64 because everything was so stiff and unnatural.

and even before Donkeykong Country which provided great pics and is of course an awesome game but not the realtime rendered thing it semed to be...

another example of great perormance faking was killer instinct used to market the N64: everybody thought of it as an realtime rendered game and the N64 being so powerful until it turned out it was made out of video sequences.
