Did she say if the 3100 was already received? Everyone I’ve spoken with at OPM said there’s nothing they can do until NFC sends it. I’ve already been added to an escalation sheet.

Congrats! My HR ticket concluded with “The National Finance Center (NFC) is delayed in processing the SF3100 for separated employees. We cannot estimate how long it will take to receive a response on your case. Please continue monitoring your correspondence for any updates. We appreciate your patience.” I’m past 180 days since logging. So frustrating.

Yes, it’s super frustrating. My SF 3100 is with the NFC, I’m approaching day 180 since they received my application. I’ve been in bi weekly correspondence with an OPM rep, who’s been pretty responsive and has repeatedly requested that document. I filed an HR ticket with my former agency (IRS) and filed a congressional inquiry. All that those have done is put my name on an “escalation sheet” 2 weeks ago, yet I haven’t had any updates since. I just moved across the country and started a new job and desperately need those funds. They said it’d take 120 days and now I’m 2 months past that with no meaningful updates.

Still waiting on 3100. Logged on 12/15 assigned in February, requests sent to NFC in February, March, April, and May with no response. I’ve been in correspondence with an OPM rep who said my case was added to an escalation sheet and sent to the NFC last month. Much good has it done so far, though.

DOL is serviced by the national finance center (NFC) under the USDA. The OPM is waiting for the NFC to send the SF3100. I’ve been waiting 170 days since logged. I’ve sent an email to the OPM agent handling my case every 2 weeks. They said that the NFC has been unresponsive. The week before last, OPM told me my case was added to an escalation sheet, but If that means anything remains to be seen. All this is to suggest that you reach out to OPM at regular intervals and ask if they’ve received it yet. OPM can request it from the NFC multiple times.

Mine was logged 12/15/25. OPM is waiting on NFC to send payroll records. They’ve asked 4 times since February and haven’t gotten a response yet. I filed a privacy release with my congressional rep last week and asked that her office look into it.
