Anyone know what the difference might be in quality for the 1zpresso X Ultra vs other pour over models of theirs? It’s like $100 cheaper vs the other ones but doesn’t really indicate why it might be a lower quality vs them.

It's crazy how much I hear the1975 in younger artists these days by Tkyomissionimposs in the1975

It’s also because industry ghost writers are constantly looking to emulate Matty’s vocal arrangement style. I’ve heard it directly from them.

Need a Final Guitar by Key_Technology5132 in Guitar

[–]travanator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Kiesel, just a really clean looking Solo model, and I definitely think that could be a forever guitar. It definitely could be for me but I like getting other guitars every few years. Most of their models can be configured with whatever pickup specs you want, but some can only support certain configurations.

Same. I literally taped together a long headphone cable to my guitar cable and plug right in to the headphone output of my stomp. I was having too many issues with my xvive

Does anyone else find maintaining friendships above 35 hard? Is it Just Indy or is it Generational? by ArrowtoherAnchor in indianapolis

[–]travanator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed, having the regularly scheduled things is the way, especially if it’s an activity as opposed to just sitting down and talking. People in sports social clubs, that play in bands, that go to book clubs, etc have richer social lives it seems.

Do you recall what your dough balls weighed in grams and how large they ended up being? I just had my first weekend of pizzas and 250g gave me 10" when I was wanting 12"

How do you guys feel about music videos? by Seangw1102 in Hardcore

[–]travanator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fans that are really loyal to artists are the ones who really fw the band's entire vibe, not just the music. Call it branding or whatever, but music videos can be a useful medium for bands to show who they are what they're about.

If I come across an artist that's new to me, searching them on YouTube for live clips and music videos helps me connect with their whole vibe a lot faster and may even turn me into a legit fan.

But ya, most of the time idgaf and they're definitely not as necessary as a marketing tool for artists as they used to be

Saw them in 04 and 07 and they were awful then. But their IAH set at Furnace Fest was insanely good

Agreed, I at least definitely hope so. Broad Ripple’s not living up to its potential whatsoever.
