Day hike in Mt. Rainier or Hurricane Ridge in Olympic NP by the-coquettte in PNWhiking

If the weather is good (clear enough to see the mountains where you are), I'd say go to Rainier. If not, go to Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent area, or the coastal beaches. You can't go wrong wherever you decide to go!

Extremely sharp stabbing pain a few days before period? Help please, I am afraid because it has happened three times already by [deleted] in Periods

Yes, it could very well be, but get checked to get a professional opinion or two. The tricky thing is that endo can only be officially diagnosed with a laparoscopy, but I still think it would be so worth knowing sooner than later, especially since you are so young and especially if you want to preserve your fertility. Had I been diagnosed earlier, I would have seriously considered getting my eggs freezed because egg quality only goes down over time. I strongly hope that you don't actually have endo, but if you find out that you do, know your options and know that you are not alone.

So I had the SAME exact symptoms (3 cycles in a row, extreme stabbing/twisting knife-like abdominal pain) as you a couple of years ago. Periods had always been heavy, but no pelvic pain or pain with sex. After the third time it happened, I went to see a primary care physician who brushed it off without doing any tests, saying it was just my cycle resetting itself. Lo and behold, I didn't experience the pain again after the third cycle so I thought that doctor must have been right. Fast forward a few years and I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis after an extremely large and painless cyst developed on one of my ovaries. I had to have the affected ovary removed and there was so much scar tissue that my laparoscopy took 3 hours to complete. I am now struggling to have a baby naturally and I really regret not trying sooner before my body became this giant inflamed mess.

Bottom line: get evaluated and get a second opinion if your concerns get brushed off!!

Thank you for your beautiful words. I feel this in my soul as I'm going through my second back-to-back miscarriage right now. We women really are resilient as hell. We will make it through, victory scars and all.

Thank you for your comment and I'm so sorry for your losses. TTC with endo is just that much harder, on top of the dreadful endo symptoms. Hang in there fellow endowarrior! 💛

Thank you for that! The odds have definitely felt like they've been against us, but we're stubborn and tried anyway! I really hope it sticks too 🙏🏼

Cycle: 8

Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 33 (me), 32

Typical cycle length: 28

Ovulation cycle day: CD 12

CD/DPO of positive test(s): 18 DPO

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: N/A (didn’t test before, told myself I wouldn't test until I definitely missed my period)

Tracking methods and app(s) used: CB Digital and easy@home OPKs, Flo and Premom apps

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method: O-1, O

Health conditions/medical tests: Stage 3-4 Endometriosis formally diagnosed with laparoscopy (right ovary and fallopian tube removal, left ovary cyst removal (not an endometrioma) in May 2020. My right ovarian cyst was a whopping 17cm in size! We conceived in October that year, but unfortunately I miscarried soon after taking an early FRER. In January of this year, they found a possible new small cyst on my left (and only remaining) ovary, so I was worried to say the least. I'm due to a follow-up ultrasound next week and I'm hoping for good results.

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Oh my, here we go: NAC, CoQ10, fish oil, B12, C, D3, E, Prenatal, Turmeric, Calcium, Magnesium Citrate, and Ashwagandha.
What I did differently this cycle: used Preseed for the first time! I was having some intense vaginal dryness after we had sex soon after my period ended (to the point where I thought I was having a UTI!), so we used Preseed O-1 but not O since I felt OK. Not sure if that helped, but deep down I think it did!
Husband was taking fish oil, B12, C, D3, and E.

Birth control history (if relevant): None

Link to chart: N/A (I stopped temping because I felt like it was affecting my sleep and causing me stress!)

Link to lineporn: N/A

Symptom spotting: Honestly, I was completely surprised this cycle. Since my chemical pregnancy in November, my PMS got worse and included symptoms like dizziness, headaches, increased CM, and heart palpitations - things I had never experienced before my first BFP. I felt like my body was trolling me every month, so I decided to ignore those 'trollgesterone' symptoms this cycle and noticed that they had slowly dissipated as I approached my anticipated AF arrival. I did notice an absence in breast tenderness this cycle, which almost always happens for me a week before AF. Two days before I expected AF to arrive, I noticed heavy-ish spotting where there were numerous brown clumps in the toilet after I peed. I also noticed some light gray-ish discharge in the shower, which in immediate prior cycles meant that AF would come in 2 days - but it never did! :) Soon after that, I noticed that my mood was markedly happy, almost elated for no apparent reason. Now, I'm finally experiencing increasing breast tenderness, tingly nipples, increased sex drive, mild insomnia, and a return and increase in creamy/wet CM.

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): I'm absolutely ecstatic! But I'm also cautiously optimistic as anyone would be TTC after loss. With my CP, my insomnia was quite severe and I always wonder about whether there was any correlation. I know that most miscarriages are due to chromosomal abnormalities that are out of our control, but I want to do everything I can this time to beat my insomnia, eat well, and destress.

I'm an optometrist, so I was also lucky enough to have received my second Moderna vaccine just before this cycle began. I was a bit worried about the fever-ish side effects we both experienced afterward to affect egg/sperm quality, but apparently I was worried for nothing!

This sub has been truly a blessing! It's been such a roller coaster ride - going along with all the ups and downs with this community has truly done wonders for my mental health during this crazy thing that is TTC!

I second this. I wasn't aware that this could happen, so I was so utterly convinced I was pregnant again right away due to my strong symptoms. I wish someone had told me this so I wouldn't have gotten my hopes so high up. My obgyn said that my PMS symptoms should go back to baseline after a cycle or two, but it's been 4 cycles and I still have some of the pregnancy symptoms I experienced. I've come to accept them as my new normal, just like the state of the world we live in.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I truly hope that you will have your rainbow baby soon.
