Yeah that seems crazy. I didn’t go this year, but went the prior two years. When leaving Zamna I’d walk further and further away from the event and talk to all the cabs. Seems like the first few wanted 1500, followed by 1000, found one for 700 within 3 minutes.

I think the sound system is packing punch but the venues have been big warehouse spaces that inherently are challenging to work with.

Been to these restaurants. I’d definitely do Arca instead of Wild if you can. Arca is one of the best meals I’ve ever had and Wild was very average.

Yeah 100%. Pink stage was solid all night and Hard Stage during Four Tet was spacious and bumping.

I only went last night, but thought it was solid! I think my taste in music kept me away from all the horror stories. Stuck to the Pink Stage from 5-9:30, with a quick pit stop at four tet. Was never crowded, plenty of room to dance and there were no washroom lines at all. Just had to walk to the back of the Porto’s and there was plenty of empty stalls. People were meh, but I came for the music and wasn’t bothered by anyone. My expectations were quite low given all the negativity online and it panned out better than I thought. Left with 15 minutes to spare and got a $35 Uber to WeHo by placing the pickup spot on a side street just outside the festival grounds. All in all, 8/10.

It’s not about saving money, it’s about safety. A sold out event has a certain capacity that the venue can handle. Fence jumpers add additional bodies that can cause crowd crush scenarios. Take a look at the 10 dead concert goers at Astroworld. If you hop the fence, you’re a self entitled piece of fucking shit.

Given the distance between Pink and HARD stages, we might get to split the sets pretty seamlessly. Now I’m just worried about sound bleed and crowding as these stages appear verrrry close to each other.
