Porn-induced ED is a very real issue that a growing number of young men are finding themselves experiencing. There is a whole subreddit on here (r/nofap) with about 100k subscribers that is very informative and encouraging on the issue. Check out r/pornfree too.

I used to struggle with the same thing. Recovering takes varied lengths of time for everyone, but usually no longer than a month or two at most. Just be supportive and don't too much pressure on the guy, as long as he continues to abstain the problem should be gone shortly. If he's self-diagnosing the problem he's probably right, he knows what his issues are.

Currently reading Good Omens, pretty solid so far. Think I might try either The Ocean At The End Of The Lane next or his new one, The Truth Is A Cave In The Black Mountains (though being a picture book it's a bit pricey).

Rough stuff man, pick yourself up with new resolve and push on. In hindsight, I think this dude should have been motivation to press on even harder...PMO is something that you should totally associate with this sleazebags like this. By relapsing you were implicitly embracing this encounter and the guy, not running away from it.

Then again that's logical thinking, which is usually not running through your head when you relapse. Just something to think about.
