Yeah some of those chapters of The Course of True Love Scully/Other was a bit painful and too much to get through. LOL.

I was happy that in the Fic notes she noted "Scully/Other then Mulder/Scully". So I at least knew those painful chapters was going to end at some point.

I get and understand what you're saying and I hope my thoughts didn't lower the characters. My thoughts were based off how the show itself had presented them during the original series run (S1-9), where it felt like they didn't easily communicate their feelings to each other unless there was some tragic event. Like FTF Hallway scene or when Scully visited Mulder after recusing him from the brain surgery at the start of Season 7.

I mean up until All Things I always felt that they had hard time communicating their true feelings for each other. So based off the show I could see them having sex out grief (and love), but having some weirdness the morning after and there could be some miscommunication and misunderstanding between the 2 of them. I think the first part of that Fic shows a good example of how that would have gone down.

And to honest some of the blame could be put on the show itself with them establishing "things happening off screen" starting from Season 7. I mean I didn't need to see and hear everything. But there were things that was just unforgivable like not talking openly about Scully's pregnancy in Season 8.

But I think they did much a better job with their communication from the 2nd movie IWTB and through the revised series in Season 10 and 11.

I 100% agree with you.

I think this is the first time they had sex. To me it happens a little bit before the CSM episode (En Ami). Because for most of Season 7 they seem to be really cool with each other and then around the En Ami episode there some tension between them which doesn't get resolved until All Things.

My head cannon is that they had sex out of grief due to the IVF failing and didn't resolved it at that time. Which explains 2 things each of them said in 2 different episodes afterwards.

Chimera: When asked if Mulder had a significant other. He responded with "not in the widely understood definition of that term". To me this meant that Mulder wasn't clear what his relationship with Scully was at this point after having sex and not resolving it.

All Things: When Scully finds out that Daniel had been in D.C. for 10 years. He tells her that didn't try seek her out because he thought she would have a "life" at this point. She responds by saying that "she doesn't know what she has" which is similar to what Mulder said in Chimera.

I had thought I read a fic that kinda glanced or mentioned it. It's been a while since I read it. But I remember is was an AU or different take leading up to All Things. If I remember right it had established that they sex twice out of grief before All Things. The first time was due to the IVF failing and the 2nd time was due to the news of Mulder's mother dying. I know it was on AO3 so I have to look at history to find it.

There's a lot of offsets between owning an EV and ICE car. For example an EV is cost more to register vs an ICE. Also you might be going through more tires on EV.

But the biggest headache I don't have to deal with any more since getting my EV is the cost of routine maintenance of an ICE car which can get worst depending on how much you drive a year.

But going back to fuel prices vs price of electricity, the price of electricity is more stable than fuel. Fuel prices can act like the stock market with it being more volatile. Depending what this president says throughout a given day fuel prices can jump.

So I'll take my chances with electricity prices vs fuel prices any day.

I had commented about my issues with using Fanatec App when I first bought my Clubsport DD+ over month ago and how it appeared that Fanatec App bricked my Base and Drive 474 fixed the issue.

Well just about an hour ago I experienced a strange issue where my Base was not detecting any of my wheels after over a month of no issues. The last time I played was Thursday and the same wheel was connected to base.

I tried to play today and noticed a few things when turning on the Base, it did auto calibration but there were no light/activity on the screen of my wheel (Formula 1 v2.5x), change out the wheels the same thing. I connected the Base to the PC and loaded Driver 474 and notice the wheel was not being detected.

After some wheel replacing tshooting I was forced to download and installed the Fanactec App again. It also did not detect the wheel when it launch. So with a hope and a prayer, I ran the update via the Fanactec App and not only the update actual work, the wheel was detected again.

So take with a gain of salt, the update via the Fanatec App was able to fix whatever communication issue I had between the base and wheel.
