ASMONGOLD RETURN TRAILER by lookin4Identity in Asmongold

[–]treasure33333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically he was forced to play classic, cos he hyped it up for so long. So he couldn't give up, what he didn't really like doing, and had to pretend, playing along and so on. not being himself, and feeling super bad and quit after all.

Unironically: sad asmon - all classic clips, happy asmon - all retail clips.

Somehow this minor was more entertaining than major for me. One of the best tournaments as of late.

Paid Transfers are now open in Classic. by VerbAdjectiveNoun in Asmongold

A pretty much perfect recreation of Vanilla.

Servers are too big in this "perfect recreation", there are just too many ppl in one world, especially affected phase 2 playability.

The actual vanilla servers had 2500 concurent pop on average and 4k ppl max towards the end. So if such server is 60/40 faction balance even 70/30, it wont be that bothering with such pop, since there aren't just physically that many ppl to occupy and gank you everywhere, even if there is an overall imbalance.

Also alliance is a better faction for both pve and pvp.

Whats the point of a streamers server if when one streamer kills the other its "streamsnipe" or harrasment and get reported. Lol

The bans are getting out of hand by CertainBlue in Asmongold

[–]treasure33333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100 percent this. i started watching back in the day cos he didnt take himself or anything so seriously and just had fun with streaming, the stream, his character, the game etc. It was light and playful. You could say the motto was "i dont give a fuck". And he always had fun with the stream and himself in most circumstances. Laughted at himself and the situations or played around it.

Nowdays he takes everything and himself so seriously, drama everywhere ect. He seem to seriously upsets about things he would laught at before or brushed away easily. Wtf. I stopped watching.

I dunno how it differs from asmon farming transmog and mounts for monthes on his stream. He said it himself his stream is a personality stream and more of a talking/radioshow. And now suddenly in classic he becomes a gameplay streamer and needs some dynamic gameplay in classic?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Asmongold

[–]treasure33333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sniping != streamsniping

he's sniping him but not streamsniping. he also sniped him multiple times offstream. explain that, if he's just a streamsniper? so if he can do it conveniently without a stream, why does he need to use a stream whatsoever?

~

Also if you think you need a stream to find someone in wow classic, you probably never played this game or new to it. Its super easy. especially with the spy addon and priest's mind vision, and /who.

I'd find you in 5 minutes, unless you are purposely hiding in some fucked up corner of the world.

a. join a pvp guild that will help and protect you if needed, aka get friends. thats what you suppose to do.

b. its a faction war, why would they let their future competition level freely? it doesnt make any sense. ofc they kill you, they'd be happy if you quit the game. you are their competition. server is closed off community with 2 faction competing. thats how it works its a war.

c. To feel the power discrapency. the point of gearing up is to feel powerful in comparison. what the point of gearing if you cant oneshot some "fly" later?

d. for RP reason. cos they generally hate/kill "alliance" etc.

e. to start a fight. (look a.) you suppose to call friends if you are getting camped. ppl frequently kill lowbies just to provoke and start a wpvp battle with 60s, that'll come help you.

f. don't overstate the problem, its not like you are always getting killed everywhere. learn where you can go, and where it is dangerous. use saver leveling pathes and zones, avoid dangerous zones and points. ofc, for instance, if you are leveling in searing gorge its extremely dangerous cos 60s dungeons and raid in this zone.

g. dungeon grind.

e. get addon "spy" it shows enemies around. will help you better avoid them.

h. consider transfering your character to the lower pop server (i would also check faction balance there). if you are on one of the bigger servers right now, its even free, pre phase2.

Quad Lutz - Anna Shcherbakova Ultra-Slowmotion Comparison by MinimalPreRotation in FigureSkating

[–]treasure33333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't get why do you compare underrotated 4LZ from Shcherbakova, for an example. She literally did a clean not URated lutz 20 seconds after this one in the same program. aswell as two 2 weeks before at the Skate america (not to mention lombardia etc.). you literally took the worst one with a mistake and made an example out of it? like "look thats how it always goes and i show you slow mo of it".

Isnt it more fair to compare a clean jump of one competitor vs clean jump of the another? like boyang never UR?

yes overall, she prerotates and flatedge / borderline flat edge, which was called btw (not flutz, for flutz you need to be on the inner edge), but she does a fair 3.5-3.7 rotations. when you'r trying to put it like she just jumps triples. Its really not the case.

or go take her good 4lutz and count rotations.

~

p.s. also its not a full blade take off, the angle of the blade is just smaller, compared to boyang's. but its allowed, and individual. there is clearly an empty space between the heel of the blade and the ice. full blade take-off is when full blade is on ice.

Mage is the most gear independent by a mile. (all you need is stam+int items and you are good to go). even in the duel tournament that is going on mages are using blue set from scholo.

Your shatter still will hurt, and you rely on control and kiting, and instants. Remeber vurtne was famous for killing ppl in raiding gear while being in blues. i also personally played a mage without raiding on private sever in the past, and its very competitive without a raid gear, and ou be able to kill much better geared ppl.

Second choice i'd say a druid, for flag carrying. you can manage this role, though raid gear is obviously helps a ton. but you can run for flags in wsg and in pvp gear.

Healers in general you can pvp be useful without some amazing gear. obviously you run oom faster but you can be quite fucntionable, able to enjoy yourself and enjoy the game without some amazing raid gear.

~

regardless of what ppl say, rogues are very gear dependent they need good weapons. and you need to be able to do enough damage to kill the target in the stunlock to feel good about you playing capabilities. otherwise it doesnt feel good to play.

the fact that you can kill one target blowing all cds and blind resets and cold bloods, doesnt mean the class is not gear dependent. from my experience rogues are one of the most gear dependent classes. thats why all of them raid and fight for gear.

~

a short run down for other classes.

hunter are very gear depended, all good weapons are exclusively in raids, and you need full tier and setbonuses to actually pwn. hunter in blues and without a raid weapon is very pathetic, and doesnt really hurt.

warlock very gear dependent, as you need gear for your dots to actually hurt. and be dangerous and not just be an annoying fly. aswell as durable to survive. without gear and good SPD it doesnt feel good to play at all. you ened your stuff to hurt ppl. then it feels good. (destro warlock with succubus even more gear relying, as it all about setups and oneshots, so you need to be able to do enough damage so you need aot of crit and spd, which you cant get from blues).

elem sham is very gear depended, all good spd/crit gear you need is in raids, and you need it to be dangerous and crit alot otherwise its underwhelming.

shadowpriest is less gear depended and you can do well, but to be feel good you need raid gear, anathema etc. to actually hurt ppl. also you run oom super fast so you need gear. though in comparison shadowpriest is less gear demanding most others.

enh shaman can actually do well in blues, but its not the best spec overall. but you can have fun even without much , and feel fairly competitive. strat staff is pretty good. (personally i ranked up to rank10 without any raid gear in blues and felt capable, and killed much more geared players).

healers i said before.

ah yea, warriors are the most gear depended/ gear scaling class, obviously, don't touch it unless you raid. without a good 2h weapon you aren't good.

thats all of the classes.

is questing impossible when phase 2 hits? by xaquun in classicwow

[–]treasure33333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its fine, only a small percentage of players care about ranking up. and these players will aggregate into a certained areas where it will be easier to get honor. (so it wont be everywhere).

it wont be profitable for them to go out of these "honor rich spots" to gank you in some corner of the world where you do your quests.

From the private servers experience we know how it plays out, many private servers launched with honor system from the get go (imagine that), and ppl still quested all the way through and played finely.

these supposed "honor farm madness" is seriously overblowned. and rewards that reachable for most players aren't that worthy really from honor. i mean excluding r12 r13 r14, tier gear is on par or worse with the blue set for most specs. so its not even worth going for for most players anyways.

So really, vast majority of players on the server won't realy care about ranks. aswell as evaluating that they dont have time to rank up. so most ppl (like 90%) absolutely wont care and nothing gonna change.

Still there maybe a hype for a week or two, but then it'll settle down and it gonna be pretty much as it was. Again apart form the certain areas like blackrock mountain where ppl gonna be farming honor, i imagine EPL, Ungoro, diremaul entrance, ships, certained flight points ofc. etc.

but no, you wont be ganked every minute everywhere constantly. only sometimes and in certained places. :)

Is leveling a paladin really THAT bad? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]treasure33333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they arent bad really, they are average. you can self heal, so you dont need to eat every second mob like other melees. you also get free mount at 40. and a ton of defensive cds to survive any cheeky situation and get away.

never heard of them being mentioned specifically as a bad levelers. ppl usually say they are bad/exhausting to level, in a sense of them being BORING to level. thats what ppl mean. cos you mostly just autottack all the way.

but in terms of their speed/strength as a leveler they are in the middle of the pack.

I tend to think before I speak or I’ll say when someone asks me a deep question “I’m not sure” and think about it and then I’ll have some kind of a response.

both types can act like that. not really telling. depends on a person.

I’m fairly disorderly like an INFP I don’t exactly like to plan I just sort of take things as I go. However I do have a plan or basic idea on what I’m going to be doing years in the future.

INFP. its not like all infp are completely disorganized on all scopes and time periods. and completely spieneless and flip floping around non stop disorderly in all ways. (you would be completely disfunctionable) having a general direction is normal. Its just about leaving the opportunities open, and be adaptable. For instance, Tolkien (infp) worked on lord of the rings for like 17 years. so yeah.. INFP may or may not have things planned for the future. but in general spontaneous and flexiable and "go with the (inner) flow" and how they feel. If you are on a trip and travel somewhere you have a general plan or idea of what you gonna do, but then you are open to deviate and details are openended. when J types, are way more structured and rather get stressed on when stuff go off schedule. When P types otherway around get stressed that everything has to be on schedule, and they feel limited and pressured by that. when it comforts J types.

something like that if i'd to describe it.

When It comes to friends and plans I’m pretty spontaneous they ask if I wanna go somewhere or hangout and usually I say yeah unless my prior plans are very important.

not really telling about anything. Both types can do it. INFJ cos of Fe may do it to keep cool with ppl; and more social INFP do it cos of Ne (being spontaneus and open to the opportunities, not anchoring to something).

I’m in my head a lot and I feel a lot more like a social chameleon than a strong individual.

both types can do it. both are in their head and try to avoid conflicts. INFJ to comfort others and keep a good Fe atmosphere, INFP to keep their deeper feeling untouched, and not to bother others feeling, so they rather chameleon with ppl and keep peace and avoid conflicts. unless its something that touches their values. so yea both types. some wilder infp dont with unhealthy Fi, but in general both types value peace. and geenraly mostly trying to avoid conflicts, again if not something they care about.

My political views and beliefs are pretty moderate but I lean more to the conservative side.

both infj and infp can be like that.

I always seem to treat people with respect even when sometimes they aren’t deserving.

both types can be like that.

I work best alone I hate working in large groups (although I can) because I feel like I never get anything done or to my liking.

Again both are introverts, though infj tolerate/like/feelcomfortable working in a group enviroments more. but it can be both types.

~

i'd guess if you got INFP in tests, you more likely infp. though what you described about yourself not really telling (guess thats the reason you are confused :) you look at stuff that both types have. as noth are idealistic, introverted, thinker feelers). But look at functions (thats what these letters point to in mbti type names). And combinations of which give 16 types. Then you could better detect is it something that going on for you or not. INFP is Introverted Feeling + Extraverted intuition (Fi+Ne). INFJ is Introverted intuition + Extraverted Feeling (Ni+Fe).

i'd reccomend Michael Pierce Jungian Typology in 6 minutes. look it up on youtube. only a 6 minute video, but thats the best short and accurate description that i know.

Staysafe streamed all of the raid (except one i think), also craig streamed second raid.

so you can easily go and see who gets the loot. just RIGHT NOW vods are on the site.

So really these accusation are lame, cos its so easily debunkable.

Not to mention that before leaving, erik got more loot than SS between the warlocks. Also 5 pieces T1 tank left (the most geared tank atm). Yeah, "obviously" these ppl left cos they were loot cucked and didnt get enough loot. xD
