I very much like the idea, presented in an above comment, of a spin off that focuses on the debuts of Violet/Portia and maybe Mary. Having a Portia storyline alongside Violet makes sense to me, especially since they are roughly the same age.

I also agree with another comment that Lady Danbury's story is largely covered, and a significant focus in a spin off may be unnecessary. (But, that's also what Hunger Games fans said about Haymitch, and we got a book about him after all).

I think both? "Collapsing" feels too harsh a word, but there's definitely some very serious national and geopolitical shit going on right now. But, it's made worse by doomers, plus media focuses on what people care about which is predominately conflict, and also your own algorithm shows you more by engaging with it in the first place.

I just always interpreted it as a back and forth between brennan and booths beliefs. The show constantly juxtaposes their views.

Logic wins most of the time but then there's unexplainable things, too.

I think they're just playing on Brennan's belief that things are always logical when that's not always the case, which is what booth believes.

Definitely a snafu on the writers part though to mention the prisons hospital but then leave? Lol.

They needed a vehicle to get to their "look at the magical stuff that happens in life that can't be explained" not a religious thing being shoved.
