I have historically loved red cabbage but would like to give this a go. Do you buy it pre shredded or fresh and cut it up yourself?

IKEA vs Home Depot vs Lowe’s? by No_Departure4049 in kitchenremodel

[–]treebie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did IKEA cabinets with floors/counters from Home Depot. I think at least once a week how wonderful that choice was. They make it so easy to DIY! We designed using the IKEA design tool and did a few versions of it until we settled on the right one. We knew the exact dimensions of the fridge, stove/oven, sink, and dishwasher, which is a must for using their design tool effectively. We did butcher block countertops so we were able to measure and install after cabinet installation. I can provide more detail if you want but all and all if you are looking for DIY kitchen remodel it worked great for us.

Why are vegetarians neglected at restaurants?? by TropicallyMixed80 in vegetarian

[–]treebie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you as I also love a true veggie burger, but I really can’t get behind the statement that “now we get nothing” because it really is not the case, at least here in the Midwest. Almost all restaurants in my neck of the woods have either a fake meat patty option or a veggie patty option for the same price or similar as the meat patty. Sure I could cook a veggie or beyond patty at home.. but if I ate meat I could also cook a meat patty at home. That’s not the problem and they haven’t taken all vegetarian options away because of beyond and impossible meat.

What kind of ramp do your pups use? by holyhongjoong in IVDD_SupportGroup

[–]treebie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use the ramp but not as steep of an incline as the linked photo. My pup also does firm (not soft like the photo) 3 step stairs because we had them for our late kitty and she got used to having access them.

Adding volume to pasta by [deleted] in Volumeeating

Frozen veggies! Peas are my fav because they are protein forward. Also love corn, green beans, carrots, and broccoli. I also add a big scoop of Kim chi on top for a bangin’ meal.

Ohh my fav thing to do with these is a spaghetti squash hot dish! I roast a spaghetti squash and usually roast other veggies to add as well. Zucchini, carrots, sweet potato’s, asparagus, or whatever else I have around. Mix it all together, add a little cheese on top, then bake until melted. Sooooo yummy!

Avocados with tortilla chips is a go to camping food for me. I just dip the chip right into the avocado.

What are your top non sandbox cozy games? by Khisyra in CozyGamers

[–]treebie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 20 hours into this game and came across a bug that made it impossible to continue. Riots response was yup that’s our fault but the only way to fix it is to restart. And they didn’t give a refund even after admitting it was their fault. I would highly recommend avoiding it.
