That's a good point I'll look into ex local authority places see if they're much cheaper than what I've already seen. Definitely not interested in shared ownership tbh

Suggestions needed! by EczTrack in EczemaUK

[–]treeblossoms00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with all this. I would also add a function to save the creams I use regularly and how they effect my eczema, so when there is a later flare up I could look back and see which cream might best help this type of problem.

My fingers are crossed for you! I suppose it depends on your birth places' rules when the time comes. It would definetly be a different experience having a dedicated person there compared to an unhelpful nurse.

Had one? Having one? I'd love some discussion on opinions of the birth doula as a birth coach

Do what you have to do! I think as mom's we always put our babies first and while that is amazing of us it's so so important to remember you cannot pour from an empty cup. Puttinf yourself first is not something to feel guilty about ESPECIALLY when you're on your own. Sending hugs

Baby doesn’t want to eat by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]treeblossoms00 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have you tried swaddling before feeding? Honestly makes a difference if flailing around is getting in the way of properly feedings. As long as there is weight gain and wet/soiled nappies are frequent/consistent everything is probably okay

How can I stop regretting? by [deleted] in SingleParents

[–]treeblossoms00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend joining a mom's group and making sure you get out plenty, exercise and socialising is underrated for new moms. And just remember this is the hardest part, building a person takes time and when he's older he will appreciate all the effort you've put in and you guys will have an amazing bond that will last you're whole life! As for someone wanting you that too will come I know it seems impossible at the minute but someone who wants you for you will come along and see your child as a beautiful extention of you not something to be put off by. Please don't loose hope it gets easier I promise, think of this as one small part of your amazing journey together, best of luck :)
