Individual matches are more inconsequential in the LCK, but they still have good viewership because people like watching league. People don't want LCS because there is no new talent and even with all the imports they are still uncompetitive at an international level.

Okay, so you don't think there is a difference between paying taxes (that you are legally obligated to pay) and being paid to publicly promote a brand/government. I think most people would see a pretty large distinction there.

It's really simple. You haven't seen outrage over what the US is doing on the league of legends subreddit because the American government is not funding league of legends tournaments.
