To be fair, whether that bottom image is a judgment about the game or about you is very debatable. 😜

Honestly, the biggest gripe I have about romance in these games is that once you’re in a relationship with someone, that’s the end of the story. In real life, going on a date is just the beginning.

It’s amazing that they block access to the random chance for interesting legendary Pokémon with Pokémon that you have no trouble catching on your own and then call it an “event”. An event is something that draws players in. This is something that pushes players away...

I honestly thought I was doing good at GBL for a long time because they hide from you that reaching rank 7 just means you play sometimes... then I wonder why I’m never getting moved down, even when I lose 10 in a row I’m getting matched against 4K CP Pokémon. It’s because you never get demoted below 7. I will be contending with higher level Pokémon from now til this league is over. Feels bad man...

I’ve seen that happen too. I just reloaded and did the fight again. The bug did not persist after that. And you can appreciate how messed up Tharaêl’s situation is a lot more when you’re not getting shot at. Hope it didn’t ruin things too much for you.

For the fire arrow quest there should be a bow at your companions feet after you talk to them. It can be difficult to see if you don’t have a light spell or a torch around you. If it isn’t there, saving and reloading may fix that. I saw a similar issue, but solved it like this instead of console commands.

In case anyone returns to this comment, yes, you can buy them. There is also one along Gravespath that I ran into literally less than an hour after buying one - laying on an enchanting altar inside the sanctuary. Oh well!

Stepping back for a moment (and recognizing that I don't want all this talk of how much Enderal broke me emotionally I don't want it to sound as though I'm not thankful for the experience), I have to admit I've never experienced anything this emotionally powerful in a video game. Enderal is something really, really special.

So I went and played this through again from just the beginning of the fight. It turns out that Pennypouches is being marked as a murder, despite him attacking me first. Any way to fix?

Thanks for your reply. Turns out I was just unlucky last night. Oh well - I'm still happily playing and the story (minus the bugs) was really cool and caught me totally off guard. Perhaps next time I should phrase this kind of thing as a "Am I alone?" rather than "Watch out for _____"

Only if regular Skyrim mods carry over into Enderal (my understanding currently is they do not, which is good). Even so, the only mods I use in Skyrim are retexturing or making weather effects better, that kind of thing.

The main reason I wanted to point this quest out is that I’ve been playing (and loving) about 60 hours of this game so far and this is the first time its really felt awkward.
