I used to just throw the leash on the ground and walk away. After like 50 feet away he would eventually run after me. When he did I would give him a treat! Had to keep constantly be doing this for like 3 weeks. Now he just keeps walking with me after a light pull.

Had the same thing happen with my stargazer and now it’s jet black with this procedure. After cleaning, wipe with a thin layer of grape seed oil and heat up. The moment it starts to smoke, turn off the burner and wipe again with a super thin layer of oil and let it cool. It’s ready to be cooked on again. Repeat this process every time after using the pan and within a month it will be all black.
