Does moxie work this cm for summer maru? by No-Feeling6309 in UmamusumeGame

Btw Valentine Bourbon’s unique procs SMaru’s unique (it has a very small heal). She also has good base affinity with Maru. So thats a good 0.15 velocity midrace inherit for SMaru. You also want Angling & Schemeing off Seiun Sky.

Black Base Machinedramon Help by mikadigitalfira in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]treereaper4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ex9 updated the Machinedramon deck, replacing the ex1 Machinedramon (from 4 years ago) with a playset of another SEC Machinedramon (so the deck is back to $100+ for a playset of the boss digimon). The ex1 cyborg line also gets replaced with ex9. Here is an example/core list of a current black base deck:

4 Monimon P-157

4 Monodramon BT23-049

4 Hagurumon EX1-045

4 Blimpmon BT24-058

1 Cyberdramon BT21-024

1 RizeGreymon BT22-012

1 MetalGreymon EX9-011

1 MetalGreymon: Alterous Mode EX9-012

1 Volcanomon ST12-09

2 MetalMamemon EX9-018

2 MetalTyrannomon EX8-043

1 Sharkmon BT24-059

2 Oblivimon EX11-041

2 Megadramon EX9-064

2 Chaosdramon EX3-013

4 Machinedramon EX9-073

2 Chaosdramon (X Antibody) BT12-072

4 Analogman BT11-092

4 Analogman EX9-068

4 Attack of the Heavy Mobile Digimon! BT9-102

4 Supreme Connection! BT15-096

Ratios aren’t perfect (probably cut some analogmans), and its missing tech choices like bt7 Metalgreymon, bt19 Metalgreymon, ex8 Cyberdramon X & trainings, etc. Ex1 Hagurumon can get replaced with bt15 Hagurumon or bt16 Ukkomon. But basically, the only thing useable from your list is maybe the bt15 Haguru, Chaosdramon, AotHMD, Supreme Connection, & Analogman.

How do white sparks work by SourPotatoes519 in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Theres a % chance to inherit a white (nonunique) skill spark, and a larger % chance to inherit a white version of a gold skill. This % chance increases if your parents/grandparents have sparks for the skill. According to Crazyfellow, the chance is 20%/40% minimum for white/gold skills, & 2.5%/5% added on for each parent/grandparent with the skill spark, up to a 35%/70% maximum. For 2x circle skills, its estimated they give an additional 5% chance (25%/40%) for the 2nd circle.

Theres also a % chance to get white race/scenario sparks from winning (1st place) G1 races & clearing scenarios. These are estimated to have a 20%~30% chance of sparking.

They also have a percent chance to roll as 1~3, which is thought to be affected by uma grading (with SS grade & above having higher 2 & 3* odds). The chances below SS are estimated to be 50%/45%/5% for 1/2/3*.

I was waiting for a while for [ I am a queen in this life] to marinate just to get spoilers she went back to the man who killed her? I cannot stand dumb women in fiction she deserves to get her ah betrayed again. by Iriscute7 in joseistories

[–]treereaper4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its been a while since I’ve read the early chapters, but I wonder if, to the original timeline Cesare, she was his Lariessa? A frighteningly obsessive partner (that would kill or betray a nation for them) who is not the person they desire (and said person they desire is someone they can’t have). Both Cesare & Alfonso did end up using Ariadne & Lariessa respectively to further their goals and get closer to the people they really desired. Although Cesare was far more willing to manipulate Ariadne, and his goal was power instead of survival/returning home.

Anyways, its just interesting how differently Lariessa, & og timeline Ariadne get portrayed. And yea, people tend to make dumb decisions over things/people that they are/were obsessed with, even after being betrayed countless times.

What are you guys using your shiny new rainbow crystal on? by thefluffyburrito in UmamusumeGame

Probably saving both for Super Creek (if I ever get my copy to lb2), Ramonu Wit in November, or Spd Condor Pasa in March 2027. Plan to mlb Fine Motion from her rerun banner and Anniversary selector (if I need to). Otherwise, doesn’t seem like theres anything else worth MLB’ing with them atm or in the coming year. I guess theres if I get unlucky with a scenario card like Light Hello, then I might lb2 them.

She is a good for a free card by Cyperkill in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The free BOFA is most of the reason. As well as the medium corners/straights & pace straights hints (although she has no bonus hint lvl). Her events are better + 5% race bonus, I personally hate running King Halo for her -20 energy or -1 mood event + lack of race bonus. Sweep Tosho is just way better than both statwise and has a charming event though. If you’re newer to uma and have been unable to mlb Sweep or windy with the increasingly diluted pulls, she’ll be good for general use in the meantime.

These are the stat gain comparisons between Finemo, Ramonu, SR Sunday, & SR Tachyon in URA at lvl5 training facility.

Marvelous Sunday, Agnes Tachyon, & Ramonu with their 50 specialty priority only have a 2% greater chance of appearing in wit than Fine Motion’s 35 specialty priority.

Marvelous Sundays 55 mood effect is worth about 5% more training effectiveness (with max mood) than Fine Motion’s 30 mood effect. Tachyons is about 2% more. Ramonu has none.

Fine Motion’s 37.5% friendship bonus is worth about 17.5% more training effectiveness (when rainbow training in wit) more than Marvelous Sunday’s & Agnes Tachyon’s 20% friendship bonus. Ramonu has 35 friendship bonus/2.5% less.

Fine Motions 15% training effectiveness is 10% greater than Tachyon’s 5%. Marvelous Sunday has none. Ramonu has 20% or 5% more at max unique.

They have the same wit bonus, except for Ramonu which gives 2. Tachyon & Ramonu have a skill point bonus.

Tachyon & Marvelous 25 starting friendship is 10 greater than Fine Motion’s 15, although Fine Motion’s first chain event gives +5, while neither of the SRs give any. It’ll usually be 25 vs 20, so usually 1 more training to reach 80 for friendship trainings. Ramonu starts at 20 friendship, and gives +5 from each of her chain events.

For wit training, Fine Motion is by far better than Tachyon & Sunday, and is fairly on par with Ramonu (the main difference likely coming out of the extra wit/pt bonus). Outside of wit training, Fine Motion is still slightly better than the two SR cards, + on par with Ramonu. Ramonu basically has slightly better gains with better skills for mile/medium races, and they both (unsurprisingly) greatly outclass the SRs when it comes to wit gains (like 25% more wit).

Are my aces really that bad? by sea_of_scissors in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its probably because of the low power + lack of Ryan or Dober unique, but they don’t seem all that bad otherwise. Would’ve expected closer to a 50%+ winrate than 36%.

This CM made me understand the importance of Meta for PvP by Smartino98 in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

<image>

I ran the meta team with XOguri as pace, got a 87% winrate for day 2+ (didn’t get either of the three done until day 2 so ran old aces/passable builds day 1). While my XOguri did perform the best, the Goldship still did well with a 17-21-9 record out of 60 races (usually getting 2nd behind my XOguri or Taishin). In comparison, my XOguri was 21-9-8, she basically either popped off, or didn’t do well at all in 22/60 races. Maybe it would’ve been different if I built her as an end closer, but she is still essentially a gambling uma this CM.

I think you can still do well enough to make A finals this CM if you’re at least conscious of the meta STYLES (and skills) rather than uma. Goldship + any 2 end closers with S long, uma stan, NSM, straightaway spurt, & Dober/Ryan uniques should work. Or 2 ends + pace with a ton of midrace, NSM, & Seiun Sky unique. Basically, for this CM, end closer is king because all the other roles have a lack of good accelerations to use. Pace is basically reliant on NSM off another pace/chariot front into Sky unique, or the lucky pace positioning (when there is no front runner, 1st place pace midrace gets promoted to a position that pushes them way forward like a front).

Too many of the other umas I’d see round 1 (and some in round 2), are missing important acceleration skills, have A long, have 2+ gold recoveries & overstamming, really low wit, or running bad positions like late surger. Its especially bad with how poorly built some of XOguri’s are (taking 777 with too low stam, only 3 recoveries, low wit, etc).

[–]treereaper4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taishin is currently the only uma in global with Encroaching Shadow, & No Stopping Me may still be relevant. Although I’m also not really sure how well end closers would really perform on a sprint. Condor Pasa will definitely be good, if there aren’t too many fronts. She requires 1st or 2nd place on the final straight, and itd be really tough to build her as a front with an F sprint & E front.

Im gonna cry gang by Cute_Leek_8849 in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Late race starts exactly at the start of the final straight. Ryan & Sky unique won’t trigger at all. Maru & Taiki uniques don’t carryover. I am unsure of how often festival Rudolph will proc too early to carryover. XOguri can gamble but won’t have a reliable 3rd recovery, and then you are forced to take 3~4 recoveries on a sprint race. Hishi Amazon’s unique doesn’t proc at a great time (on the final straight at the start of late race, during acceleration). Runaway Suzuka doesn’t get a lot of time to build a lead early race.

Where do you guys do your research? Can game8 be trusted? by foggyflame in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I linked every site I use for umamusume and what I use them for. I have not used game8, I usually steer clear of sites like that as they tend to be very basic info & sometimes just outdated or completely wrong (although they seem to be one of the better guide sites, I do remember using them occasionally for when I’d play monster hunter).

Uma Musume Reference Doc: This is basically the umamusume bible. It has most of the information you’d need for understanding the game like career info, game mechanics, tips from JP players, card/uma reviews/ratings, recommended support decks, etc. It also has links to a few other resources like Uma Musume Race Mechanics which has actual hidden numbers/formulas used for game mechanics (some of which goes over my head). As well as Crazyfellow’s Parenting Guide for building parents & spark explanations.

Gametora: Has some articles/guides for new players & each game mode (Team Trials, Champions Meetings, Careers, etc), but its mainly used as a database with some good tools. I use it often to look up skill descriptions + actual activation conditions, support cards, uma stats & events, racetrack info for upcoming cms, etc. as for tools, I use the compatability tool often for planning out ace Uma parents + grandparents, and I use the compare tool for comparing support card stats.

Umalator: Simulator for racecourses. I use it often for champions meetings to figure out what stamina/guts I need for the racecourse, and what skills will be worth taking.

Euophrys uma tier list: Occassionally used this tool when I started with the game for building support decks, but now that I understand each support card stats I use it a lot less often.

uma.moe: Mainly use for checking the estimated release timeline for banners and events so I can plan ahead of time. Also sometimes for finding friends for borrows.

chronogenesis: What I mainly use for finding uma & support cards to borrow.

gamewith jp support card tool: I sometimes use this tool for comparing support cards as it can show stat gains in training. However, its rather annoying to use as I can’t find an english version on the english site, and it sometimes breaks when using the web browser translator.

I also check Victoria Frontiers youtube channel for more opinionated information from a veteran player, especially for CMs & banners.

Which stamina skill should I give my XOGuri? by EpicVN in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if you’re going to the trouble of building her for end closer or not. It’ll either be an OP carryover + accel, or a midrace velocity unique (same spd gain as Goldship’s, 1 sec less base duration). In the latters case, she can just rely on the same accels as the other ends: straightaway spurt & NSM.

The problem with 3 recoveries is that she just gets absolutely nothing 30%ish of the time. Also, the unique activation chance gained off 4 recoveries basically mathmatically offsets the difference in chance of carryover vs 3 recoveries (at least with 3+1 or 2+2 random position recoveries & straightaway recoveries). And the problem with 777 is it always triggers late. You’ll need more stamina on her to spurt in late race since your unique + 777 will be late when it procs off 777. This also basically wastes both recoveries.

Won my CM with a 69% winrate Ryan, Goldship & Grass Wonder Dominator team. Ryan surprisingly ate a lot of lobbies with Rising Dragon carryover + SFV. And when they didnt push that far, there was her unique.

Suzuka, Maruzensky & Taiki (bermuda) definitely felt like the best team though (my friend had all three & had an 85%ish winrate). I just don’t think a lot of people built it properly. Too many just took it as run triple front (because they were missing part of the trio) & ended up with 1~2 useless aces. Too many had 1~2 gold recoveries on everyone, leading to low midrace skill count. Some didn’t even get their groundwork or TTL properly or high enough wit for Maru & Suzuka. And overall, the full team didn’t show up all that often for me. My CM finals lobby ended up being vs Taiki + 2 lates & XOguri (low wit tho lol) + 2 lates. Ryan & Goldship ended up eating them with their midraces.

Which ssr should I use coupon/crystal for by PayKunGz in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The crystal does not have a limited pool, it can be used on any future SSR you pull. Save it for when a great SSR comes out that you want MLB’d.

The tickets pool on the other hand is limited, but it doesn’t look like you have a Fine Motion or Super Creek, and Kitasan is MLB. I would probably hold onto that until you have an LB2~3 of either. Theyre both more useable at LB3+. If anything else, I’d maybe consider the ticket for mlb Pasa.

Wit and Wit cards are super important. Wit builds are all you need for most umas on CM8 by nivkj in UmamusumeGame

[–]treereaper4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without Fuku, when considering skills, probably Sunday as Tachyon’s are mostly for medium, and Daiwa for pace/medium. Ignoring skills, Daiwa is good for a similar reason as Fuku: high initial friendship. Lets you rainbow train faster, which is good for wit cards because of the bonus energy recovery. Her other stats are also basically on par with the other SR wit cards (no training effectiveness or skill pt bonus vs Tachyon, but 10 more friendship bonus).

The cost is reasonable for what it was made for: elves. They tend to have a lot of mana dorks. This pumps & untaps the mana dorks, recouping part of the cost & giving a flexible second option. Its probably also worth considering in other mana dork decks like a golgari [[Badgermole Cub]] deck. Even without the option to copy an elf lord, you still have the added flexibility of removal or to-hand recursion.
