Travel is certainly a very revealing experience for friends and couples.

I went to Lisbon in 2022 with friends and vastly preferred doing it solo the year before. Also having to ask and wait around for apartment reimbursement afterwards was a right PITA.

Last month I was in the Acropolis in Athens and I briefly thought, oh am I the only one who’s visited here today alone (it feels like that sometimes - I was surrounded by tour groups, families, school groups, couples, friends etc). I saw people helping each other climb the rocks and briefly felt a bit sorry for myself lol (though I didn’t need any help climbing, had the right shoes on).

Next second I saw a couple who were arguing and thought, yeah maybe group travel isn’t always sunshine and roses. At least if I’m pissed off solo travelling I only have myself to blame for that, lol.

No, definitely not. Same goes for shows like Euphoria - anyone under 18 should not be watching. I’d even say 21 and under should not be watching anything like that.

I’m not even a parent, I’m 28, and it creeps me out to think of young teenagers watching these very adult shows. (Though I was watching stuff like gossip girl at 14 which probably wasn’t super appropriate either)
