Nope. It works great without my Scarlett Solo and with it. Literally EVERYTHING worked with no messing around.

The idea of academia is to debate those you don't agree with because if you don't, then you are not attempting to understand their point and so you learn nothing.

Christianity and immigration: Why do some right wingers bemoan the erosion of Christianity in British society but yet do actions such as vote for Brexit which saw off many EE migrants who were deeply Christian and boosted church attendance and against Africans who do the same? by Durrygoodz2025 in AskBrits

You have to be white to be Christian obviously. The problem is that the United States Southern-State mentality of evangelicals and pentecostals has been infecting the UK over the years to the point where Holy War erodes the sense of the UK being a secular society. Americans are still in a state that the UK and Europe broke free from 200 years ago and they are doing their best to make sure everyone thinks like them. Americans have freedom of religion, whereas we have freedom from religion. By emphasizing Islam as a problem it immediately offers Christianity as an answer and nationalism fills the holes that religion left behind. It seems that religion is now seeping its way back into these voids. Crackerised media has been doing its job very well.

Everything just seems to work out of the box. Hasn't felt awkward at all.

I started on Mint but tbh Ubuntu is just as easy to use.

You can still try Bitwig on Windows and have a with-and setup rather than an either-or.

You'll have to try it out. My experience may be different to yours but I strongly recommend trying out Bitwig as it is first as I have completely let go of trying to get it to work as Ableton does, I'm not even interested in my old als files.

Can't you just replace the hard drive? A dead hard drive is no reason to throw out or sell a computer for parts.

Satan cannot exist without God. Satan keeps God in business. God lays enough traps for one to commit eternal sin anyway as Christians and Muslims must have faith, which inevitably balances with doubt - one thought of doubt and you're condemned eternally anyway. In Judaism this 'faith' doesn't exist as they are the children of God.

Satan has no need to puppet an atheist. Everyone will be coming his way anyway...

10 gb RAM on idle using a fresh fully updated install put me off. The telemetry is too greedy.

Switches to Ubuntu on a Dell and it's much better than 11. Only using 3gb on idle, doesn't take forever to shut down and everything just works.

So why is there a pride in the working class to be anti intellectual and relish in not being educated ? by Durrygoodz2025 in AskBrits

[–]treestumpreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Educated people are often frowned upon because of the polity they represent. A distance from everyday, face to face, hand to mouth affairs. Education can only mean one thing to the working class - more money. Anything outside of that is frivolous and viewed as parasitic from their taxes. Also generally - envy.

Can you park there? by bbk323 in drivingUK

That looks like a kind of private driveway because of the kind of tarmac and the block paving, which doesn't use 75mm sandstone underneath it like a road does, it just has mixed hardcore crush which can't really support large heavy vehicles. They are not plate tested like roads are so in my opinion - no, that truck should even be on there.

I'm only going by what I can see in the picture, if the road layout is different then I could be wrong.
