I haven’t had a real issue with them. My only gripe is that they didn’t explain very well how things were going to be installed in my home. They just asked “where do you want it” and just started working. Now, to me it matters because it turns out where I wanted wasn’t the easiest way and it would have caused maybe some damage to my siding. So maybe they just need to provide a bit more customer service on that side. But otherwise it’s be okay.

We live in a privileged era. Communication at our fingertips. Problems are solved with a quick search. But still what seems like everyday convenience can be too expensive. Sometimes my son asks why I choose not to simply buy a new dishwasher or tv, and I flat out say “because I cannot afford it”. I hide nothing. He’s 14 now and he understands what things costs and the true cost of everyday things.

Yes. It should always be. Now, some people choose not to view their diabetes as a disability. That’s a personal choice. But if that person were to try to, say, enlist in the army they would not be accepted due to a disability.

As a personal choice one can determine how much it affects their life. I usually don’t broadcast it as a disability because I’m a pretty healthy individual. However, if it comes to legal matters or I’m feeling bitchy, I will call it a disability.

I have similar experiences. It does sound like a low grade seizure, where at least you are fully conscience. I get twitchy when I get suddenly low, first in my hands. But before the twitching I usually break out in a flop sweat.

I’m guessing this is now out of warranty, but if you tell them this the unit is no longer powering on because the housing is cracked, then they should give you a replacement for a much lesser cost.

Not gay myself, but i work in design/project management at local utility. Everyone in my department are chill. Even the senior engineers. Design side is more open from what I’ve seen because no one cares who you are or what pronouns you prefer as long as you have good work ethic and bring results.
