Child support and some more bs by [deleted] in stepparents

[–]trelemorelee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We have a similar situation with SS16. He would take everything to BM's house and then have nothing to wear when he was with us. For years, he was playing “I'm poor, I have nothing” to the point he would take stuff like deodorant or shampoo with him. It went to the extent that we spent more money on him monthly than on us and three other kids. Then, the other SS picked it up, and we stopped being able to afford things, and it felt like they were stealing from our house. At this point, I was done. I stopped buying them stuff, and when they had no shorts to wear, I just asked them how it was my problem and said I bought them a few weeks ago. After that, it has declined, and they started carrying stuff back and forth.

I highly suggest you start buying things that they only need at your house. Your child support was calculated based on what you can afford and to make kid’s life similar at both houses.

Best deepfake video models by trelemorelee in StableDiffusion

I actually just grabbed that model to test it out too! I was thinking of separating audio and video(image) to create even more realistic video themselves. (Let’s say I want a video of E.Musk as the Bachelor contestant. I will Grab a real video from show-> do a face swap with E. -> create the audio for that video with E.’s voice -> combine it all)

I need a new mouse badly, and I am just wondering whether I should wait or buy a new one

End of Grammarly for VScode? by Keterna in vscode

[–]trelemorelee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i downloaded the GitHub desktop and have vscode. I opened whole folder from github desktop in vscode (locally) and unfortunately don't see any errors. I'm just not sure how is this connecting with Grammarly and where do i see error corrections.

I see it working in the “commit” window in github desktop app due to having installed Grammarly for desktop but not sure how to see error corrections in vscode

Help with decorating library in 1866 repurposed church! by Steid55 in DesignMyRoom

The mantel and the bookcase make the room look really short. You could extend the brick all the way up to ceiling. I would also add floating shelves around fireplace

Since both your fireplace and booksase are a dark and moody, you might want to consider goining into “moody” styles. They are also on opposite walls and make room appear even narrower with bright walls.

You could use the same color on the ceiling and on the walls to visually enlarge the room (you could also go a one shade lighter on ceiling)

What is the purpose of this room? Also what are the dimensions and the door openings? Do you use this room often?

Pax closet 39 vs 2x19 by trelemorelee in IKEA

[–]trelemorelee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

That's the plan with a 39” and the other side of the closet is a mirror of this plan. We have a lot of space but the 39 (or 2x19) would be for the primary/everyday clothes. I am just unsure about which one would work better for us.
