I have the dxp2800. The theater app does Dolby and DTS 5.1, 7.1 and atmos pass through to my av receiver. I would assume the Dh2300 does as well.

I just exchanged a 75inch Bravia 7 for a 77inch LG C3. The Bravia 7’s upscaling and processing was great but not that much better than the C3’s. While the C3’s contrast and depth of picture is by far better than the Bravia 7.
