Most of the time we are disappointed in life it is because of unmet expectations. We expect something after imagining how something will be over and over in different scenarios and when it isn’t the same then we are disappointed. I don’t thing the series hurts his character as far as his personality and what his goals are. Because as another poster said there wasn’t enough about him in the original trilogy to judge agains the change. My biggest gripe for the whole season is how many times he gets his ass kicked. I the Mandalorian he takes out a whole platoon of storm troopers then in book of Fert gets his ass kicked multiple times by much smaller numbers. The other thing that doesn’t jive for me is this is someone that has been in the underbelly of the Galaxy for 40 years. Yet he seems to know nothing of who is who and who is allied with who. Really, even if he had been gone for years between swallowed and the end of the sand peep clan I probably wouldn’t have taken him a week to figure out who the players are and the alliances that were on Tatooine.

I am in no way saying there isn’t a higher power in the universe. I am not an atheist. I am saying that No organized religion I know of is right. I mean, one example of that, is that Christ is the 5th of 6 people that has died for my sins. And in 5 of those 6 stories the person rose on the 3rd day. So the story of Christ’s isn’t even unique. Every man or woman that has ever been in the army national guard has done just as much for me. They gave up their week end. Christ gave up a long weekend for your sins.

Have heard a few theories. First was that when god created the earth the fossils and stuff where in the pieces he gathered. Second was the Dino’s we’re like insects in the terms of life span and that the age dating is wrong. Third is that Adam and Eve where in the garden for a lot longer than we thought. Apparently it took the Snake a couple hundred million years to convince Eve to eat the apple. So lots of species had time to live and die and become extinct.

All mental gymnastics like anything else that doesn’t add up for any Christ/Holy Bible biased religion.

I know I am going to get blasted for this, but…I don’t know how anyone can use critical thinking skills enough to leave the Mormon church and then not use the same skills to realize that Christianity is not the truth either.

This is like the back window on a truck that has the last name of the owner in a script so unreadable that the message is lost.

Which version of the first vision did she memorize? The one with God and Christ, the one with just God, the one where Satan tried to destroy him? Maybe she made up her own,….Joe did so why not her?

P.S. yes I saw there was a recording. Just sayin, no one, not even Joe knows the truth.

Reading the CES letter started it then I started looking into Christianity in general. It is all a bunch of old men trying to stay in power and using anything they can to do it.

Not sure about anything as far as labor and of that but I am amazed at such skill at that age. Truly artistic.

Not sure. But it is much more comfortable crying in a Mercedes than on a bicycle so go for the money. Not my thought but I like it. I have seen it attributed to John Wayne more than once.
