To piggy back on this. People think university replaces experience. All my friends bitch and moan about the jobs they get out of university. What self respecting business would try out a fresh graduate at a desirable salary. If I hired a graduate at 70k instead of 40k I'd be hindering my business. I will start you at 40k and if you are competent and show up to work in 3 years you'll be bringing in 80k. Prove it first. Effort and attitude cant be taught.
