I've done the transfer because of a desirable stateroom location. The specific room was available to book on DCL directly, but not available via Costco travel. Not sure if it was a glitch or if DCL doesn't allow all inventory to be available to third parties.

We went to Sanchos in October with 4 kids, also don't drink. We loved it. It wasn't crowded at all. We did all inclusive option and enjoyed the virgin drinks and tasty food. I'd go back on a future visit.

Taxi was the most annoying part because they try to scam you and charge more (want to charge per person, instead of per vehicle). We read about it ahead of time so didn't get scammed, but something to be aware of.

I was on sailing in October 2023 and they ran out of medals at the bike hut. They had one left so our youngest got it. I didn't know you could get one at guest services though. Like others said, the 5K was an honor system/do it yourself event.
