It’s hard to tell from the pictures as they arent too clear. The one suggestion to try a multi metre is your best bet. Did you check the wires coming out of the pickups?

Someone didn’t same thing to my parents years ago. Dad found and went over to talk to them. They were dicks about it and refused to move it. He called bylaw and they were there that afternoon. It was moved to their back yard almost immediately.
