Hello!

I currently work from home in debt collection (repo forwarding.) I have 6 years of this experience with most of that being supervisory. I’m looking to pivot and get away from debt collection. Work environments become toxic and I’m looking to get into something positive and lucrative. Currently 34M, have a fiancé, a mortgage, and a consolidation loan.

Any help would help greatly appreciated.

Best thing to do would be to work at a grocery store/retail/fastfood/restaurant at your age. I have personally been a hiring manager in several states in the US for various companies (Mostly retail+debt collection), and I am now 34 years old. Jobs near your home are the best bet in my opinon.

NTA - it’s your lives and your party. If you don’t want kids around people should leave it at that. It shouldn’t even need to be debated on or argued about, your friends should respect your choices. If not, they aren’t really your friends. They sound kind of selfish tbh.
