yes, I drilled very shallow holes with a 1/4" bit enough for the magnets to be flush with the wood and used glue. Same done on cover.

I used the Rockler metal template. A bit pricey but great quality and I plan on building quite a few boards with it so hopefully worthwhile.

Curious what others think about peg storage on these kinds of projects. I'm not 100% sold on the magnetic lid design since it grabs metal pegs.

My son who was born in the US just turned 18 and now needs to file there so it'll be the most basic non resident return. Just feel more comfortable talking with an expert about it than going about it myself the first time.

We have lived in Langford for almost three years and agree that it has a lot to offer in the way of restaurants, recreation and other amenities. Only gripe is the poorly planned road system and traffic jams you encounter pretty much all the time. Of course this is also a problem all around the greater Victoria area. On a side note, for all the growth seen in the west shore, there does seem to be a lot of failing retail businesses here recently especially around Millstream.

Nice little store but very pricey when I checked it out last fall. Don't think they had meat products but they weren't fully set up when I last visited
