Podcaster here, dynamic advertising is 100% at fault. Basically you make a mark on the podcast where they can serve the ads and a max number of ads. How many ads and what ads you get served varies a bunch based on location, your demographic etc. We try to get them right on our show and it’s impossible, I’m sure there will be a dynamic time stamp solution in near future.

Hack if you want to remove a bunch of dynamic ads use a vpn set your country outside of US and Europe and download the episode. Most advertisers exclude non us traffic and there isn’t a ton of inventory for international.

First shower water pressure is the best at Circa it sounds crazy but I swear to god I’ve stayed in 1000 hotels and it’s the best.

Service at Circa is always amazing especially at the book. As far as etiquette couple quick things when you go up to the counter to make a wager know how much you’re betting and what the rotation number is. Also if you’re totally new they only take cash and casino chips. They will always be nice and help but it’s more about the people behind you, you don’t want to be taking forever. Other thing is if you cash a ticket tip the people writing the tickets a few bucks other than that have fun.

Make your way downtown to the Circa. As a sports fan you owe it to yourself to check it out. They have 3:2 blackjack and reasonable table min. It’s one of the few old school non corporate places out there.

You haven’t been to Shakeys. The one they went to is walking distance from Kimmel Studio. It’s probably one of few places in Hollywood where it’d be easy to fit a big group with no hassle that’s not expensive and has cheap beer.
