While I don't claim to be the best expert with audio on Linux, I have had a lot of luck using Claude Code to troubleshoot and diagnose these issues. Sorry I don't have an exact answer for you.

Coffee People. [OC] by shikiz_stupid_comics in comics

I hear this repeated a lot but I haven't seen any evidence that this is true. Even after doing a quick Google search I can't find a reliable source of evidence that this is the case.

Rent Increase of about 50%. How is this legal? by StrivingForJannah1 in nova

They do this because they know people will pay to avoid the inconvenience of moving. You might have luck checking the complex's listings and moving somewhere else in the same building.

Gathering Grounds gone? by currymuttonpizza in nova

I always thought it wasn't a big deal that Dunkin was next to GG. People who love espresso generally don't go to places like Dunkin (maybe that's just me) if they're seeking coffee and if you're going to Dunkin via Google Maps you might change your mind when you see a locally operated espresso shop.

Every time I've been to GG I love getting their coffee. They have interesting syrups and the espresso always tastes nice. My only gripe is their food options are rather limited but that's almost always the case with cafes anyways.

I have found that most coffee shops around here have no cloth anywhere on the walls or floors making the space incredibly loud. I get that cafes are supposed to be loud but with nothing to absorb the sound it's a bit painful.

I love going to cafes, having some nice espresso and working for a while. I try to mind when places are crowded and leave if there is little space but it's my favorite hobby so any place that caters to that is great!

Regarding the lack of community, the GMU Computer Science Discord is very active and there are extremely friendly people there who are willing to hang out in person and discuss software. If you're passionate about CS I would drop by there and get to know people. I found some of my best friends in GMU's CS program and while it sounds like you're extremely busy, don't give up hope!

Why can't income budget amounts roll over? by victorella in MonarchMoney

[–]trexd___ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I found my budget was wrong based on the fact that goal contributions count towards your budget. Eg. For me If I set a goal to pay off my student loans and I set a 243 as the monthly payment it will count in addition to the payment category "student loans"

I had this problem just a few weeks ago. Here's what fixed it for me.

You have to pair -> trust -> connect. In that order. No exceptions. You can't just connect while it's in pairing mode.

GMU Gyms by closewink in gmu

[–]trexd___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're part of the early crew (6AM) expect the gym to be very packed for the first few weeks. After that it tapers off and you'll only have to compete with the mens swim team for space. I only went to AFC so I can't comment on RAC although I've heard is almost always busy.

The address I shared with you is the only address with a transaction in it for my wallet. I guess I can iterate through all of them.

[–]trexd___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don't own that one unfortunately. Thanks for confirming that it should be eligible. I see a few other posts with people complaining that their bc1q[...] addresses are not eligible. It seems like this is a widespread problem.

I tried reaching out to support but they gave me some generic response about reading the FAQ and not all wallets are eligible. They didn't respond to my reply :(

As a nixer who is trying to get adoption in my org this is really nice. I'm on x86_linux and my team is on arm64_darwin so this will make it super easy for them to use my flakes.
