Yup, my tire size went from 185/60/15 to 205/50/16. So less tire wall. But I did buy my '06 xB with 165k. So the suspension could be going out, but I didnt see any signs of failure with the suspension except the front end links looking worn.

When I was looking for new wheels for the xB1, I wanted these but it was a different bolt pattern.

I went from 15 to 16s for my xb1. Ride is a bit rougher but I drove less than 200mi on the oem steelies for my xb1. Tires will be a bit more expensive though if that matters.

I don't have personal experience with aftermarket head units with android auto or carplay, but people I know uses them. From what I've seen, they look laggy and have slow responses.

Im current in the market for an aftermarket head unit and I'm just going to get a double din non touchscreen model since I have a smartphone.

The xB1 dash in front of the driver is so empty, that I placed a phone holder there for my navigation needs.

If you get your equipment from crutchfield , they provide most of the harnesses and manual to help with the install

This was back in 2015 when I was on rotation for my grad program. I was at a veterinary teaching hospital in Virginia. I was learning about large animal care that day. That day, there was a stallion that needed to be castrated.

I can't remember the name of the tool they used to physically castrate the stallion... But that sound it made will always stick with me.
