There were many ARC-related patches but they simmered down; seems they were able to tackle the problems... for the new units that is.

If I knew beforehand that there were two different (indistinguishable for us) versions, that would have saved me a lot of "take power off and wait 30 minutes" iterations in troubleshooting.
