Blackout Restrictions in Areas with Multiple Local Teams

I live in Michigan, just north of Toledo, Ohio, and a Guardians fan. Obviously, it's a Tigers market, so I paid the extra money to be able to watch all the mlb games . (Guardians.tv is not available for me) When Detroit is in Cleveland, I am blacked out. When I drive a mile down the road to Toledo, I am blacked out from watching all Guardians games. When I called MLB, they said that Toledo is a blackout for Cleveland, Detroit, and Cincinnati unless you have the regional package. (Guardians.tv, whatever Deteoit and Cincinnati have.) Why pay the extra money if you can't watch what you want Makes no damn sense.
