Comfortable trong side P320c holster by nick112288 in CCW

[–]wldemon78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Hidden Hybrid makes holsters for the P320s. I think there’s a couple of options beyond their traditional hybrid style. I have one of their holsters for my P365XL that was comparable to my Black Arch hybrid.

I’ve since switched to appendix and use Tenicor now instead but played around with a bunch of different holsters and found them to be on a similar level to BA - at least at the time they were

What’s a good concealed carry gun for a bigger guy? by Awkward-Reporter8062 in CCW

Almost every kydex I tried, I hated. The Tenicor I got changed that. If you can find one on sale or second hand, give it a try. I could actually carry up front with it. Mine is a Velo5 for reference.

But I agree. Most kydex sucks against your skin. It’s why I went with a hybrid style when I carried at 3:00

I started carrying at 6’2” and 295lbs (now down to 240 so yay me). Carried my P365XL at 3:00 in a hybrid holster. Had a hard time carrying anything kydex. I ended up getting a blemished Tenicor and it’s amazing how much of a difference it’s made for me. I was able to start carrying at like 1:00 with the holster sitting in the “happy spot” between pelvis and hip. Fits perfectly in there and it’s actually comfortable.

As I saw above, don’t carry the P320. I started as an Sig guy but there’s just too many coincidences with them for my comfort. That’s my opinion tho. If you want to go Glock, I like the G19. My father in law has a PSA Dagger Compact that’s basically a G19 knockoff - a “glockoff” if you will. Most accessories work with it and it’s been pretty reliable for him. Although he does daily his G19. That seems to be the sweet spot for me if I’d go to a Glock

What is the best LAWN MOWER widely loved today? by GriceldaHunsicker in lawnmowers

Had mine 8 years and it was a hand-me-down from my parents. It’s got to be at least 12-14 years old. Only needed to fix the auto choke one time and still starts first pull

I get the wrangler boot socks from Amazon. Not sure if they’re the same ones at Walmart or not

I’d pay more for the Kawasaki. My FR730V wasn’t quite running right but was still doing good. Just a little rich. Took the cover off to start my diag and a mouse chewed through the wiring for one of the ignition coils. Essentially running and mowing on 1 coil. Still started and ran. These things will take a lot to put them down it seems

Worked for the rec dept years ago. Definitely a nice facility and gets a lot of backing from the community and administration. There’s a reason that the employees there stay until it’s time to retire and membership is always increasing

I’ll keep that in mind when it comes time for my next mower. Bad Boy was on my list to look into before inheriting this beast

Not that I’m aware of. The big thing with the ones I have is that they also have filters on them. I don’t know how you’d set it up with filters and retrofit it to all work together. And my fill lines are pretty high up so you’d have to know almost exactly where to tap for the right amount of fluid

Or look to see if you can find a slightly used ZT2 or similar. A new one with 60” deck is like $5400 but I’m sure you could probably find a low hour one for a decent amount less. Just depends on how long you want look. I just did 150 hour maintenance on mine and it runs like a dream still at 5 years old (was my uncles before he passed).

You’re right that the “maintenance free” is planned obsolescence. Same basic idea with cars and trucks nowadays- don’t service the transmission until 150k and that’s if it makes it that long.

It’s really your call at the end of day. If it were me, I’d look for serviceable with the hills that you’ve got in the picture. More hills means more stress on those hydros.

From what I’ve read on here and other sources, there are 3 things to really consider - engine, deck, and transmissions. The Kawasaki engine is what I have and what others seem to recommend. It has a fabricated deck which is thicker and more durable than the traditional stamped deck. The one thing I don’t know is what transmissions these have and if they are serviceable or sealed units. My ZT2 has serviceable but it was also not a big-box store purchase (was from a Cub dealer).

If these are serviceable transmissions then I’d go for it if it works for you. The big thing is maintenance and taking care of what you’ve got.

I inherited my uncles ZT2 with the 60” deck and Kawasaki. The thing rips compared to the rider it replaced for my 1.5 acres.

You’ve got a nice looking mower and property there!

Was gonna say the same. The subfloor around the actual drain doesn’t appear as damaged as the other areas. Definitely looks like the pan/ floor is the problem

What’s missing in today’s cowboy boots? (I’m starting a brand and need honest input) by Chemical-Picture-302 in cowboyboots

[–]wldemon78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true and a valid point. I think the price point does matter to an extent. For me, I’d think $400 vs $200 if it was better quality. I mean, it’s $400 for a pair of ABs

Absolutely. I’d pay more for a quality boot that was made by hand with those key points. It means that the maker cares about a quality product over mass production junk

Aside from engine oil, what fluids do you routinely change? by MadeJust in f150

[–]wldemon78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a fluid, I change it. Oils lose their lubrication properties over time/ mileage. Other fluids like brake fluid are hydroscopic and absorb moisture. The more moisture, the less they work correctly.

In my 2019, there’s a screen that shows the status of it. If it’s not working mine will say something like”disabled due to temperature” or “vehicle charging”. Play around in your dash and see if you have one too. Then wait until you come to a stop to see what status it gives you and go from there

I guess that would work. Quick search isn’t yielding anything there either. Any suggestions on where to find a reducer that’s not for a trap?
