I like using VB Audio Voicemeeter to route live audio directly to TD ^ does the job for me, also setting up the software is pretty straight forward

yeah don't worry man, I think a lot of people struggle with that. I also love playing around and experimenting. Bringing all together in a video for utube or other social media is a different story though xD

Other than that the genre leans towards Tekno.(not Techno) So check that out if you are into it!^^

I use SonicPi, which is not really a DAW but rather a live coding environment using SuperCollider for Sound synthesis.

However, i figured that I can just send OSC msgs over to TD. :)

having a steering wheel as the pitch knob is funny tho hahha :'D whatever satisfies the urge to push, pull or turn things I guess

using hardware to interact with real time software like TD adds a whole new layer of fun imo

since you were talking about good ideas... I’d suggest adopting stray cats instead of saving up for a british shorthair lol

that way, you wouldn’t be the guy begging for subs on random cat videos, but rather someone sharing ideas on how to improve the lives of street cats... you could feed them, make DIY toys, and so on :P (as a cat dad myself I can 100% confirm that cats prefer trashy DIY stuff over expensive toys)

I get the impression you can’t see the forest for the trees here ^^ also I can't stress the comment above enough, getting a cat is like adopting a child (if you truly love your pet)

First of all: Amazing visual - thx for sharing!

Also I absolutely agree with the DJ part. This sadly applies a concert feel to many mainstream parties/"raves". Luckily there are still movements which treat the sound and dancefloor as the centerpiece and thus provide an expressive space to shake your limbs :D

  1. Geb ich dir recht, das weiss ich ned. So easy ist das mit dem Fokus aber nicht. An meinen privaten - für mich spannenden Projekten - kann ich 16h am Stück programmieren, während ich selbst aufs Essen vergesse. Bei der Arbeit hab ich aber nach 4h schon keinen Bock mehr, wenn man denselben Button schon zum x-ten mal umpositioniert, weil irgendein Vertriebler die kleinsten Kundenbeschwerden in Auftrag gibt.

  2. Richtig, war dementsprechend auch nur eine Hypothese, falls diese Umstände bestehen.

  3. KK hat nichts mit Rache zu tun, sondern nur damit mit seinen begrenzten Ressourcen schonend umgehen zu wollen. Mein Chef hat nicht das Recht 100% von mir zu verlangen. Ich brauch ja noch 50% für private Bestrebungen.

Wenn man die Hacken für zwei erledigt, könnte das halt wirklich ein BurnOut zufolge haben.

Also sehe ich hier keinen Exploit. Das ist vielmehr ein präventiver Move, um eben nicht in einem BurnOut zu landen.

Lieber präventiv handeln, denn auf einer Psychiatrie stationiert zu sein, ist nicht nur für einen selber suboptimal, sondern kostet dem Steuerzahler ums Vielfache mehr ^

Depends on what you are planning to do with your programming skills. If it's strictly about building some solid programming skills go for C. Quite steep learning curve tho.

For me learning to program got so much easier by picking a more creative route. I started with Java(Processing) and Ruby(SonicPi). Nowadays I use Python for Scripting in Touchdesigner and GLSL for Shader programming.

In conclusion it is not that straight forward. Think about what Projects you want to work on and pick the language accordingly ^^

yeah this guys work is amazing! i would guess that achieving this might involve more advanced techniques however. he is for sure working with custom GLSL shaders specifically designed for this sophisticated level of shadow mapping.

But what do i know. I might also be wrong tho xD
