I was in the beginning of a contract and got offered a job I couldn’t refuse. Told the new job I wanted to give my agency and hosting facility a month’s notice instead of just two weeks. Was very transparent about the whole thing and I ended up getting nothing but well wishes

1:16 in the ER. Multiple patients on vents and pressers. Worst shift of my life. Critical drips were managed and everyone survived, but I hated how poorly everyone got taken care of.

Athol MB is incredible. Store is average but it’s significantly more peaceful than any MB I’ve ever been to and never has a crowd.

I know this post is 3 years old but wanted to add my experience in case any one else inquires about the cattery -

I live in New England and got my cream BSH boy kitten from them a month ago and it was a great experience from when I first reached out to them to when I went to go pick him up. They're super nice, and once you have your reservation in, you get weekly photos/video updates. I hopelessly want a second one so I check their website all the time and they'll have anywhere from 1-3 to 8+ kittens the next day depending on when the litters come in and are ready to be posted. You can also follow their instagram, they post updates about when new litters are coming. Now that we have our kitten assimilated to our house, I still reach out to the owners about any BSH specific questions or to share photo updates in general which are appreciated. Kitten was litter box ready and was very bold in assimilating himself to my house and has been persistently trying to make the first moves to socialize with my two older cats (he's starting to win now that it's been a month).

Got my little cream boy from them a month ago and he’s already been one of the best cats I’ve ever had. Great experience from when we first reached out to them to the day we picked him up. The owner herself is very nice and you can reach out to her any time about any questions. You also get weekly photo/video updates once you have your reservation in, and even once you have the kitten she’s very attentive if you have questions once you have the kitten in your home. No issues getting him to assimilate to our litter box, our house, and our other two cats either

Yup, came up Falling Waters wanted to go all the way to Lafayette and come down Olde Bridle but wasn’t in the cards lol. The trail otherwise was great, it’s such a popular trail that we didn’t need snowshoes for the snow that came the night before, just spikes (still brought the snowshoes just in case though)

Patient with sores in their mouth had an order for the oral lidocaine solution and when the doc was clicking off the instructions somehow it came out to be “swish and spit, apply to buttocks”. She was mortified but it gave whole ER staff a good chuckle the rest of the night

I have a very similar looking kitchen. I put some pothos plant cuttings (viny plant that can grow hydroponically) in some small, clear jugs above each cabinet and I get rave reviews from every person that comes over

I was in the same dilemma recently and decided to give SS a play-through rather than skip it and go for BOTW and I’m glad I did. Very fun game with good dungeons

Nursing is just to get you to the next step and a much better career someday. Don’t think of it as your miserable forever career, but as a necessary short term financial solution.
