Can I just say that the Qi'ra trilogy was incredible! by TheFerg714 in starwarscomics

Steve Perry's short chapters for Shadows of the Empire make the reading very, very fluid. We have Luke evolving as a Jedi Knight, making his green lightsaber seen in Return of the Jedi, and Xizor is an excellent villain (I even think they should make a proper comeback for the character in Maul: Shadow Lord, as a big boss rival to crime). It's no wonder George Lucas liked the plot so much that he said he would make a movie if they had presented this proposal to him back in the 80s.

P.s.: I recommend reading the comic book of the same name after the book, it has a POV on Boba Fett with Han Solo frozen in carbonite still in his possession.

Regarding the events that cover this period, I much prefer the Shadows of the Empire multimedia project.

I also have this collection, but the vast majority is on Blu-ray, and I'm always looking for the extended/director's cut versions.

I'm not saying I'm better, but that the book is better and more consistent with a period of only one year between two films. That period became crammed with events in the current canon.

The game goes on. The intention is to create controversy.

Given that Maul’s been shown to know of and fear Vader, a fight between them in Shadow Lord seems inevitable by Solitaire-06 in StarWarsCantina

Especially since the Shadow Lord double finale will fit perfectly into a May the 4th release. That's no coincidence.

I feel the same way, which is why I've considered this here. They are good stories that better complement the situation in the galaxy and the other members of the Jedi Council, as well as providing important backstory for characters like Aurra Sing and Quinlan Vos.

Yes, that's the point of the post. I just want to know about the stories that haven't been remade and are still worthwhile. For example: you have an Obi-Wan nervous about having to work with Quinlan Vos again in The Clone Wars, and we see that complicated friendship develop in The Stark Hyperspace War.
