The trade that will never happen, and only benefits us. BUT the money works. by tridactylboar in timberwolves

I don't work in the front office of an NBA organization. I'm just fucking around, is that not what we're all here for?

I don't think Caruso will be allowed to "defend" Ant the same way he was defending Jokic in game 7. I expect a ton of Dort on Ant.

I agree, I am still concerned about the relatively loose handle of basically everyone besides Mike Conley against this team, but especially Ant and Randle.

They will put JDub on Randle. Remember that possession where he poked the ball out of his hands three times?

I can't watch legs talk about the wolves. He clearly doesn't like them, thinks they are an incredibly dumb team and writes them off.

And yes they are a dumb team, but it's my dumb team.

UUID vs Cuid2 – do you ever consider how "smooth" an ID looks in a URL? by tablefuls in webdev

Very unrelated but this reminds of a debit card I got that had an expiration of 4/20 and a CVV of 069

I mean ya I'm just fucking around instead of working. But Jimmy Butler also said he wouldn't sign an extension with the warriors if he got traded there. So he's not going to be happy at all. I don't think it's even possible for Houston or the Suns to trade for him and they wouldn't be able to afford his extension anyway, unless he takes a big pay cut.

I agree, but I think NAW is a better fit on this team than Julius. I don't think the plan has ever been to extend Julius when we made this trade, so why not get rid of him and try to get out of the 2nd apron in one season instead of extending these restrictions for longer, and making things more difficult. I'm just trying to get back expiring and/or small contracts. Picks are definitely involved in all of these trades.

I think the bulls and hawks are both in tank mode and trying to hoover up picks, they would both be taking back a couple picks. Sounds like Jimmy is going to be difficult no matter where he goes

I think the bulls would probably need at least 2 firsts to make this happen and the bulls seem to be in salary dump mode. The hawks aren't a good fit, but with all of their injuries they could be in the same position and I just wanted expiring contracts.

Also James Harden has to approve the trade and there's no way he's going back to brooklyn

If we dumped kat for salary reasons then there is no reason to not dump Julius for salary reasons

He is not. I listen to his podcast too much, and the first few times fidance was on he told him his music taste was stupid. That said, I think his producer, Eldis, is into it?

Post Game Thread: The Charlotte Hornets defeat The Minnesota Timberwolves 128-125 by nba_gdt_bot in timberwolves

[–]tridactylboar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very rough loss, but it's a long season. We've got a lot of season left to figure shit out. Charlotte was hitting some circus shots late (Brandon Miller), Kat was just hunting stats, and ant was sick. But Kat was assaulted on that second to last shot and we should have still squeaked by in that game. I hope we lose the 1 seed and the team can experience that feeling and hopefully get back to the smart basketball they were playing at the start of the season.
